  [font=trebuchet ms]Straw didn't mind children per se, but also wasn't really cut out to be a caretaker for them. She was too easily stressed, too lacking in focus, to keep her eyes on more than one of them at once. Besides, they liked to ask a lot of questions, and the noise could get overwhelming really quickly outside of small doses.

  Still, talking to one of them at a time was fine. At this age, they were kind and non-judgmental. Approaching behind Tena, Straw looked up at Bugpup on his high perch, twitching her ears in acknowledgement to him. She didn't know a "Romanempires," but it didn't really matter much anyway if he wasn't here. "I'm Straw," she said softly, after Tena finished talking. "I'm... just kinda here. Nice to meet you."
