THAT'S NO MOON ☆ open, introduction - stilly. - 07-27-2019
SOME SAY I HAVE NO DIRECTION — Soft and quick pawsteps echoed off of the stone floors of the Elysium main camp as Bugpup raced out from the nursery cavern, taking his first breath of cool mountain air that wasn't shared with some sort of chaperone. For four long moons now, Bugpup had mostly been regulated between the nursery cavern and the small area around it, stopped from wandering off too far by the many worried mothers that didn't want him going out because of his lack of experience with... anyone, really. His Mother had disappeared shortly after his birth, seemingly just a passing stranger that had dropped off her puppy without a second thought in Elysium territory, with nothing but a note proclaiming Romanempires as his Father. Seeing as the male in question had left many, many moons ago, the mothers of the group had communally decided to take care of Bugpup and raise him away from everyone until he was ready. Bugpup had proven to be quite the rambunctious little shiba though, so his first day out came quicker than they had originally planned, with him stumbling out of the nursery cave with a huge grin on his muzzle, brown eyes glittering with excitement. He was still in an awkward phase of puppy hood, with his legs seeming too short and his head seeming too big for his own body, but he didn't seem too worried about it as he quickly scrambled his way up onto a large rock in the main camp cavern, his tail wagging vigorously behind him. His eyes flicked to and fro all around to all of the different passing faces, and he couldn't even imagine all of the other group members he had yet to meet thanks to being cooped up in the nursery all the time. Plopping his fuzzy butt down against the rock, he cleared his throat before barking loudly, ears seeming to flick in time with his words like a nervous tic, "Hey everyone! I wanna introduce myself to all of you! I think it's called an, uhm, a meet and greet? That's what the nice ladies in the nursery called it, anyways..." He quickly shook his head, knowing that he was already getting off track - focus, Bugpup! - and he hadn't even said his name, "I'm Bugpup! I've been in the nursery for like... so long. But now I'm finally allowed to go out! Oh, and also I'm the son of Ro... Ro... Romanempires? I think that's how you say it." His Dad had such a long name that it made his head hurt. He'd have to tell him how hard it was to say sometime... that is if he ever met him. He was unaware of his Father's recent return, mostly cut off from recent events. — THAT I'M A LIGHTSPEED DISTRACTION "SPEECH" Re: THAT'S NO MOON ☆ open, introduction - Tena M. - 07-27-2019 Tena Moonspinner — Typically, it was Tena being loud and gathering some attention. Even before she became Elysium's leader. As such, she smiled fondly when she spotted the source, amusement flickering in her bright blue hues as she trotted over. A meet and greet then. "Hello Bugpup," the Demdji answered warmly. "I'm Tena, it's very nice to meet you." The petite sand cat made a quick, mental note of the child's father, curious, considering he only recently returned to the area. Who leaves their child...? Well. He was clearly doted on by Elysium's mothers and she decided she ought to thank them at some point personally. "I'm your Magna, if you didn't know, which really just means I'm a really cool friend to have," she offered with a conspiring wink. [align=right]— I tell you this story, save your life, set you free Re: THAT'S NO MOON ☆ open, introduction - Straw - 07-28-2019 [font=trebuchet ms]Straw didn't mind children per se, but also wasn't really cut out to be a caretaker for them. She was too easily stressed, too lacking in focus, to keep her eyes on more than one of them at once. Besides, they liked to ask a lot of questions, and the noise could get overwhelming really quickly outside of small doses. Still, talking to one of them at a time was fine. At this age, they were kind and non-judgmental. Approaching behind Tena, Straw looked up at Bugpup on his high perch, twitching her ears in acknowledgement to him. She didn't know a "Romanempires," but it didn't really matter much anyway if he wasn't here. "I'm Straw," she said softly, after Tena finished talking. "I'm... just kinda here. Nice to meet you." SOME SAY I HAVE NO DIRECTION — Bug's eyes immediately lit up when he saw a couple of other group members approaching, and his bouncy little tail wagged back and forth to showcase his excitement. Almost immediately he hopped down from the rock he was on, rushing up to the front of Tena and barking with a grin on his muzzle, "Tena is a nice name! I've heard about you from the ladies in the nursery! I know what a Mag... Mag... Magna is! That means that you're like, in charge of everything. That must be fun, isn't it?" He tilted his head to one side curiously, his shoulders hunkered down against the ground with his hind up, as if he was asking to play. He didn't wait to hear what Tena's answer was though, his ears swiveling towards Straw and his paws bouncing off the stone floor as he bounded over. Looking the other over, he yapped curiously, "Hi there, Straw! What are you? You look funny but cool! You're not a dog like I am, are you? The Moms said I'm a... sh-sh... shiba inu!" Straw seemed so different to him, and it made him excited. Most of the Moms in the nursery had been either cats or dogs, and nothing too exotic, so anything that wasn't domestic seemed so invigorating. — THAT I'M A LIGHTSPEED DISTRACTION "SPEECH" Re: THAT'S NO MOON ☆ open, introduction - stygian - 07-28-2019 [align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.4;"] Ahren quite liked children, and his eyes lit up at the excitement that burst suddenly from one end of the camp. It seemed one of the children was finally ready to make his entrance into society, and he did so with much charm, the center of attention. "Oh, hey!" the bi-coloured cat piped up, his eyes lit with excitement. "I'm Ahren!" Re: THAT'S NO MOON ☆ open, introduction - Ebra M. - 07-28-2019 [align=center] EBRA MOONSPINNER — hey sister, do you still believe in love I wonder?
Ever fond of children, the stocky sand cat followed the sound of the meet and greet, whiskers twitching. Their icy blue eyes brightened happily at the sight of Tena, snorting in amusement at her 'cool friend' comment. They shook their head at her with glinting eyes before speaking. "I'm Ebra Moonspinner; it's nice to meet you, Bugpup." Re: THAT'S NO MOON ☆ open, introduction - stilly. - 07-28-2019
SOME SAY I HAVE NO DIRECTION — When someone who seemed equally thrilled with his arrival showed up, Bugpup's grin grew even wider, and he swung to face Ahren, dropping to his chest before bouncing back up, "Hi, Ahren! You look like the kitties that took care of me in the nursery, but different. One of the ladies in the den had all white fur. Did you have all white fur too, and then you spilled something and stained it? I've stained my face eating berries before. Those were good..." He was getting off track again, but he couldn't help it. Everything was just so interesting and new that his brain had trouble focusing. His attention was pulled in yet another direction when Ebra showed up, but this time his mind actually made a connection between the newcomer and those that had already showed up – this cat looked a lot like Tena! Smiling, he tilted his head to one side and said softly, "It's nice to meet you too! You look a lot like Tena. Does that mean that you're a cool friend to have too?" He knew of the concept of siblings, since there were always plenty of litters in the nursery that were all siblings, but he didn't have any of his own, as far as he knew, so it still seemed a bit foreign. — THAT I'M A LIGHTSPEED DISTRACTION "SPEECH" Re: THAT'S NO MOON ☆ open, introduction - stygian - 07-28-2019 [align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.4;"] At this, laughter bubbled from his chest, and he lowered himself to the ground to mimic the young shibe, a grin spreading across his lips as he listened to the child ramble on and on. "Oh, my spots?" he asked innocently, waving his tail about in the air. "Come here, I'm gonna tell you a secret..." Then he grew closer to Bugpup, and whispered close to his his ear, "They're made of chocolate, but you can't tell anybody, or they won't be chocolate anymore." SOME SAY I HAVE NO DIRECTION — Eyes widening in elation at the thought of being told some kind of inside exclusive secret, the young pup listened intently, his ears strained forward. When he heard the secret, a gasp left him, and he couldn't help the way his tail swung back and forth quickly, "Oh my gosh! I can't... oh-" Upon realizing how loud he was being with so many others around, he lowered his voice, saying in an exhilarated tone, "Your spots are made of chocolate? I can see why you keep it a secret, that must be dangerous. What if someone tried to eat your spots?" He had such a genuinely worried tone as he shook his head and closed his eyes, trying to wipe the suggestion from his mind. — THAT I'M A LIGHTSPEED DISTRACTION "SPEECH" Re: THAT'S NO MOON ☆ open, introduction - Dimitri - 07-28-2019 Dimitri liked kids. Sort of. He'd fantasized about having his own in the future, and at one point with... what was her name? His face creased. Dimitri shook his head, shaking away the thought, and perking up as the puppy came out of the nursery.
He's cute! Delta also liked kids, she was a protector after all. She tended to look after Daisy. He wondered if Daisy would like to play with this kid. She would probably love that, but they would probably have to ease this kid into who they were. The tom approached, gingerly looking over the puppy. "Uh, hi. I'm Dimitri. Uh... my stripes are made of chocolate too." |
