The Typhoon. He certainly held some... interesting feelings regarding their new ally. Memories blurred his vision as he crept towards the familiar eagle. Memories of his recruit kidnapped, tortured, and slain in cold blood; the spark that ignited a bitter feud inflamed by hostility and hatred. Yet memories of a kind face clashed and only left a hollow confusion in his chest. Disgusting. Beck twitched at the snarling word that pierced his mind, violently shaking his head to rattle the voice away.
His nose crinkled at the basket of gifts. Oh, how the gesture irritated him so, his apparition flushing with bitter cold. Beck wanted nothing more than to kick the basket aside, spilling the presents into the mud. Then no one could enjoy them. Hissing through clenched teeth, the poltergeist instead snatched the note, only skimming through the written message before he crumbled the paper up and tossed it behind him. A carnival, huh? He thought for a moment, kneading pearly claws into the soil. Considering the event was most likely a tradition, all those scurvy bastards would be attending. And distracted. An atrocious grin slowly curved his unscathed lips; an idea began to turn the gears in his imagination. It was perfect. He giddily laughed to himself, rising back to his feet and stalking off back into the underbrush, slipping into invisibility to ensure no other creature witnessed him there.
