ALORS ON DANSE / typhoon invite - bubblegum - 07-01-2019 I HEARD, I HEARD ACROSS A MOONLIT SEA
THE OLD VOICE WARNING ME
BEWARE, BEWARE THE DAUGHTER OF THE SEA
BEWARE, BEWARE OF ME.
[align=center]Upon the border of Tanglewood, a large harpy eagle sits upon a basket of gifts and a large note, letting out caws as it tries to get the attention of the swamp dwellers. The gifts were clearly of the Typhoon, fish scent strong, though there weren't any present in the basket. Instead, there was a various assortment of herbs and flowers that could be found on the pirates' very own island. The captain had figured that would be most useful in these times. And, while she hadn't originally been planning to invite them to this event, she figured it would not hurt to do so. They could see them in a much more personal light - which has not happened yet. The female knew better than most, after all, that the Typhoon could be the greatest ally any group could have, as well as the most unforgiving. She is happy to show that off once again, and is hopeful in their future. Though, for now, she had only sent her harpy eagle, not wishing to drive her attention away from the event at home. Upon the note, there was an invitation. Dear Tanglewood, you've been invited to the Typhoon's first event during Calypso's Carnival - the festival of colors. There will be plenty of delicious food prepared by the captain herself, glow in the dark paint to decorate yourselves and others, plenty of time to chat with your allies, and a spar for all to partake in or watch. https://beastsofbeyond.com/index.php?topic=11417.new#new Re: ALORS ON DANSE / typhoon invite - beck. - 07-01-2019 [align=center] The Typhoon. He certainly held some... interesting feelings regarding their new ally. Memories blurred his vision as he crept towards the familiar eagle. Memories of his recruit kidnapped, tortured, and slain in cold blood; the spark that ignited a bitter feud inflamed by hostility and hatred. Yet memories of a kind face clashed and only left a hollow confusion in his chest. Disgusting. Beck twitched at the snarling word that pierced his mind, violently shaking his head to rattle the voice away.
His nose crinkled at the basket of gifts. Oh, how the gesture irritated him so, his apparition flushing with bitter cold. Beck wanted nothing more than to kick the basket aside, spilling the presents into the mud. Then no one could enjoy them. Hissing through clenched teeth, the poltergeist instead snatched the note, only skimming through the written message before he crumbled the paper up and tossed it behind him. A carnival, huh? He thought for a moment, kneading pearly claws into the soil. Considering the event was most likely a tradition, all those scurvy bastards would be attending. And distracted. An atrocious grin slowly curved his unscathed lips; an idea began to turn the gears in his imagination. It was perfect. He giddily laughed to himself, rising back to his feet and stalking off back into the underbrush, slipping into invisibility to ensure no other creature witnessed him there. Fish caught the scent of her nose. She was completely unaware Beck had beat her there, and approached without conviction. The smell of fish only tended to originate from the Typhoon, after all. She blinked as she observed what was in the basket, only reminded of Leroy dropped the basket of herbs at Goldie's paws. She huffed gently- they did need these, after all. She picked up the note, grunting gently. "Hey, guys, there's an invite to a Typhoon event." She called back towards camp, ears pushed forward. "SPEECH" Re: ALORS ON DANSE / typhoon invite - Crow Roux - 07-05-2019 [align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.4;"] "Y'all can go, of course," Crow said, but his voice sounded more unenthusiastic than usual, his gaze distant. With the events at hand, did he really want to go? Without saying anything further, he would gather the gifts and begin to head back to the town. He would think things over back there. Re: ALORS ON DANSE / typhoon invite - arrow - 07-08-2019 I GRIEVE IN STEREO, THE STEREO SOUNDS STRANGE. "Hey, nice." A little get together or something, eh? Food was the main objective. She'd socialize of course, if people were there, but god she wanted to eat. If she was lucky she could probably make a new friend or two, get out there and meet some new peeps. That was what this was all about, right? |
