There was little to what the unit could remember before finding himself what seems to be a deciduous forest from what his data was telling him about the trees in the area. He had all of his memories from when he was created up to the point where he found deactivated for some strange reason. He had already checked his battery and the charge that his components had, and he still had plenty of charge to at least last him several more days as long as he didn't use the different components of his body. So, that wasn't the issue, then what it had been? He and the lieutenant had been on several missions and calls during the time that he was put into active duty. Of course, his specs needed to be tested and he was made with the latest technology of the human race, but even he was limited. If anything, one could almost consider him to be a prototype, and why he was given the lieutenant he wasn't exactly given the specific reason. Not that it bothered him to be with the bearded man, he just found the other's health choices not optimal for what a human being should choose. He constantly had to make sure to check the human's vitals to make sure that he would survive the night when he drank too much. How damaged Hal's liver was he did know and probably would not be able to tell unless he opened up the human, which wasn't what he was created for. Most of the tasks that were given to the police station varied, from detective work to apprehending criminals all across the city. Over the course of human history, canine companions were used to make their jobs easier and to provide companionship. However, it was easy to see that canines were not always out of the line of fire as there were several deceased K9 units over the years that were either shot or stabbed in the line of duty. A company that helped create new inventions for the police department in the area decided to try an experimental design. The humans could not simply use a regular dog as it would put too much strain on their body, instead they needed a more robust creature. The base of his creation is the body of a Eurasian timber wolf, and it was there they began to take his body apart and put him back together. The body that was used was almost dead, and the mechanical components brought the body back to life and chip was used to bring his brain back to life thanks to the electrical charges.
The unit had no interest in the way he was created and did not have the ability to have independent thoughts for himself thanks to the coding inside of his system. He wasn't completely robotic, and is more of an android instead, having biocomponents still leftover. Creating an android is easier than creating a full robot as one can make use of the organic components to continue to run other systems of the body. The last job him and the lieutenant were given was to apprehend a criminal that had a warrant for his arrest and was said to be armed in a secluded part of town. Considering the amazing success rate of the two partners, backup was rarely needed. He led the way into the house, using his incredible sense of smell to track the human's scent that wasn't his partners. Hal made sure to cover the corners while he wasn't looking. It took them several minutes to find the criminal, and police were not allowed to fire on site. Hal gave the usual protocol that came with arresting someone and instructed the criminal down onto the ground. At first, the criminal did not resist as soon as he spotted the robotic K9 unit that had been over the news over several occasions. Thanks to the mechanical components, he was able to understand the words that were spoken by the two humans, and having the behaviors embedded into his code he followed them perfectly like he always did. Hal instructed him to get closer to make sure that he wouldn't move, and as he moved into position, he was able to take note that the man was laying down on something. In an instant, both he and the criminal moved, his metal teeth attempting to clamp down onto the criminal's body to keep him from getting up.
He could tell that whatever he was laying on, was metal and could potentially be used as a weapon. He felt nothing, but his eyes were able to see that his metal teeth sank into the suspects left arm, but that left his right arm free. He could hear Hal shouting behind him at the suspect while he tried to get the man onto the ground with brute force. He almost managed to do so, but then his vision started to go blurry as he heard a cracking sound emitting from the side of his head. The man had picked up a small sledgehammer and had slammed it across the side of the canines face. It stunned the android for several moments but he felt no pain. His mechanisms forced him to release his grip as his body began to run a diagnosis on his condition. His optical relays started to malfunction for a moment, and he wasn't able to see what happened after that, but he did hear the sound of footsteps running in the distance. This still did not answer exactly how he had managed to end up here unless the suspect had brought him here, but his most expensive parts were still intact. The small lupine continued to call out his partners name, hoping that his bark would sound somewhat familiar and draw the man closer to him. A voice made him stop in his tracks at the call of part of his designation number. The android stopped in his tracks at the familiar voice and turned his head. What he saw made no logical sense. There was no confusion spread across his face or even fear from hearing his partners voice coming from the animal that was coming from him. The K9 unit turned himself around so that he could look at the dog, but didn't immediately respond to Hal as if to make sure that this was indeed real. RK was certain humans could not simply turn into a different species as it was not logically possible.

Maybe there was a malfunction in his programming. The likelihood was slim, as a sledgehammer could only do so much damage to his body and there was almost no evidence on the side of his head. His right eye remained the yellow hue as the circle pulsated as he accessed his data. At the same time, both of his eyes seemed to twitch slightly, one of the glitches that happened due to his unit currently in the prototype stages. Everything he analyzed in just a couple seconds told him that this was indeed Lieutenant Hal, however unlikely it actually may be.

After one second, his eyes stopped twitching and his right eye soon became a light blue as he began to take hold of the situation. His partner was now a dog, and he could understand the saint bernard, a breed that made him a lot taller than he was. Which, he was used to since Hal was already taller than him when he was a human. "[glow=#212121,2,200]Lieutenant Hal. This is certainly strange as there is nothing in my databanks depicting a human turning into a Canis lupus familiaris[/glow]" The android would reply with a stoic expression and his posture straight just like he always did. He did not exactly have the answers that were needed to explain such a strange situation as his right eye started to glow yellow as he looked over the canine in front of him that was designated as Hal. He was able to see that the saint bernard didn't have any serious visible injuries and no broken bones. "[glow=#212121,2,200]Lieutenant Hal, your condition shows no broken bones and no visible injuries. Currently, your condition can be ranked as: healthy, in terms of... saint bernard.[/glow]" It was hard to come to terms with. This made absolutely no logical sense, and all of his processes were running at full power to try and figure out an answer to their current situation. After a second of that, the android sat himself down, his head raising slightly as he was to give a report to any officer, and without any computer to upload his report to, he would have to say it vocally to the only officer in the area. "[glow=#212121,2,200]Lieutenant, our current location is unknown. I am not currently capable of running at full capacity as several of my functions have ceased functioning. I am unable to contact fellow police officers to assist us and I am unable to connect to communication networks. This is likely due to the blunt trauma sustained while attempting to apprehend Lewis McMillan on Wednesday night at 2300 hours. Upon being hit, my programming began to diagnose for broken components while my optical functions malfunctioned. All I heard after before shutting down was your footsteps and Lewis McMillan's footsteps running in the opposite direction toward the back of the house. I do not know what had happened after, as I should not have shut down after the blunt trauma.[/glow]" His response was without emotion and followed protocol. It was blunt and directly to the point. After a minute, his right eye began to glow blue as he looked at Hal, waiting for his next orders.

[align=center]— RUN YOU DOWN
RK515 is a small eurasian timber wolf weighing 95lbs and standing 31in at the shoulder. He wears a thick police K9 vest across his chest & back. He has 4 white metal limbs with metal claws that are made out of a light material. He has a robotic right eye that flashes different colors, while his left eye is a dark brown. He is passive unless he perceives someone as a threat. He holds loyalties with individuals and not groups.
