[div style="width: 450px; line-height: 12px; text-align: justify; font-family: georgia; font-size: 8pt;"]— 'cause I'm only a crack in this castle of glass
When darkness settled across the jungle, the cross fox would wander. He spent most of his days in the open, casually reading a book or holding conversations with the passing NPCs. All of it an act, instilling his presence as commonplace in the background and encouraging trust. When it came time for everyone to rest, Embry took his walks through the trees.
In quiet places, he sat and there he reached his daughter, Keona, through their bond. He had a mind to do that tonight, had he not noticed a flash of red through the undergrowth. He blinked, realizing quickly the splash of color belonged to Gael. Don't blow...
He moves without thought, trotting after the other fox. His cousin reminds him incredibly of Raziel in those moments in which quiet prevailed. He snorts quietly at the thought, then bit back a sigh in irritation for the sound. You don't trust Gael. He doesn't trust you. It's always been that way. But that had always made their relationship entertaining.
"An bhfuil tú ag iarraidh breathnú cosúil le Raziel?" He inquires, losing his Scottish accent in favor of his natural Irish. Looking almost bored, he raises his brow, hiding a wry smirk. Goldie is going to kill me if he blows my cover. Well. Not if Keona does not first. "Cén chaoi a bhfuil tú col ceathrar? Ní cuimhin liom an uair dheireanach a chonaic mé tú." Not entirely true. He remembered, sitting on a dock before another voyage, discussing their thoughts on Raziel at the time.
There was much he wanted to know about Gael in the present. Much of it he doubted he could weasel out of the other Fae, but it was worth the conversation. Besides, they were family; no harm in 'catching up', regardless of ulterior motives.
