Moomin was awfully fond of rivers, in all honesty. He didn't go to them on his own all that frequently -- Snufkin had usually bring the one to bring him. But Moomin was in charge of making that map, and it was certainly helping him! He'd just .. decided to take a break at the river. He breaks into a little giggle as he sticks his paw into its waters. He'd always preferred the beach for playing in, but rivers were nice. And maybe he could try fishing! He hadn't ever done it alone before -- he was always with Snufkin or papa or somebody else. But there was a first time for everything, and Moomin had to become more independent. Not even his months alone had taught him to do that much.
However, after taking his paw out and continuing along his path, he sees somebody. Moomin comes to a halt and tilts his head -- pink. That was ... that one person, right? He didn't know her name, but she was here. Ever-curious, Moomin picks up pace.
"What're you looking for?" Moomin asks upon coming close enough to speak. He's grinning down at the anxious feline, eyes sparkling. Snufkin had taught him a lot of tips and tricks about how to find stuff out here! It was just a part of the territory -- they'd gone on an awful lot of adventures, after all. He just hopes its something he can actually help with, though.
