[font=trebuchet ms]The arrival of spring dyed the land a vivid green. Watching the plants in the greenhouse grow signaled to Straw that things were going to be okay again, soon enough. Life always bounced back. Though she could barely talk to any one of Elysium's members, she was grateful that the group was getting back on its feet.
The mountain air, and the rocks beneath her feet, soothed her in a way little else could. Walking along the trail, she couldn't help but stare at the cliffs, internally mapping out the quickest route to the top. Climbing trees, scaling rock faces... they were more similar than one might think.
Detecting the smell of an unknown canine, though, Straw glanced down the trail, her eyes fixing on the direwolf. She was almost certainly not a would-be attacker; reading a book, willingly putting your attention to something else, was not the sort of thing you did if you were going to ambush someone. Approaching wordlessly, the red panda tilted her head. Lifting a paw to adjust her mask, she waited for the newcomer to finish reading and look up.
