I HEARD, I HEARD ACROSS A MOONLIT SEA
THE OLD VOICE WARNING ME
BEWARE, BEWARE THE DAUGHTER OF THE SEA
BEWARE, BEWARE OF ME.
[align=center]She very dully noted the stutter, not really thinking too much on it. She had one herself in the past for a long time. It'd be hypocritical of her to judge him for it. Though, she did acknowledge the seeming discomfort in her head, planning to hopefully ease that. Her own anxieties took the forms of colors and sounds, reds and blacks once following her at all times with a constant static nagging in her mind. But, they have been gone for a while. She burned them down herself. Now a blue seems to creep up on her every now and then, but it was easy to ignore against the golden hues of the future. This encounter, for example, was brilliantly shining onto her. The blue was irrelevant against it.
The female let him settle before quietly breathing in to get to business. "I'll be honest with ya," she begins with, her slit pupils locked onto him. Her sharp voice is casual and relaxed. "Tanglewood is the only place that's never once pissed me off - which is sayin' somethin'. I am puttin' a lil' bit o' faith in ya with this meetin', Crow." Was it a bad move to reveal this information to someone she hardly knew? Maybe, but there was reason behind it. If anything, it just foreshadowed her future intentions with Tanglewood, if this went well. She was not so sure that the deal between the Pitt and the Typhoon was made public outside of the two groups, but she did not intend to bring it up unless she had to. It's not like this meeting was breaking the deal - it's already been settled.
Now, Tanglewood didn't necessarily owe them anything, and the captain understood that entirely. But, she was willing to give it a shot. If he was hesitant, then Goldie would offer a deal of sorts - maybe. "To get t' the point, I know y'all jus' recently raided the Pitt. So, I'd like t' ask for some information on 'em. Anythin' at all." More specifically, she wanted to know if they'd upheld their side in removing slaves, but she wouldn't demand that from him. She wanted to keep this vague for now. If Jervis thought she was suspicious of his actions, that would ruin her plans. "I understand it might be a weird request, but I'd really appreciate any honest answer you've got t' give." She couldn't imagine him keeping too many secrets about them - it just didn't seem beneficial when she looked at it. The Typhoon and Tanglewood - and all of the groups, really - had a common enemy, even if Jervis might not realize it yet. This could just potentially communicate to Crow that he had more forces to work with. After all, the pirates had never been ones to fuck with. The female was thinking through her words and potential consequences carefully here. She's been playing this game since she was a child. If he didn't want to answer, then she would simply have to get over it. The female would find out one way or another.

NOTHING'S EVER LOST FOREVER, IT'S JUST HIDING IN THE RECESS OF YOUR MIND AND WHEN YOU NEED IT, IT WILL COME TO YOU AT NIGHT. I MISS THE YELLOW. I MISS THE YELLING AND THE SHAKEDOWN. I'M NOT COMPLAINING, NO, I GOT A BETTER SET OF KNIVES NOW. I MISS MY DRUMMER, MY DEAD STEPBROTHER, AND THE PIT CROWD. AND CHUCK AND MATTY - IF THEY COULD SEE ME THEY'D BE SO PROUD.
