    if there is deity lore I imagine maybe something happened to them after this post apocalypse set up? Like maybe it could have been a ‘kill the gods’ situation that caused some kinda magical/radioactive explosion/event that caused all the powers/mutations etc to go haywire and out of control and that’s why everything is as it is?

    And the groups we have now maybe emerged out of that hellish event? (Since this would also lead to being open to new extraneous groups via neutral lands as other set ups of ‘survivors’ if you made the map BIG and kept it vague or something which would lead to less feel of restricted group creativity for environs etc?)

    Just an idea to throw in.
    (Also might mean any current clan religions can/might be built or vaguely referenced as one from the before if peeps wanted more lore connections?)
