Unfortunately for the Sunhaven members, they might've had better luck in the height of day; with the extreme temperature fluctuations of the desert, most animals came to life in the twilight hours and many remained active well into the night. Ninazu, as one of the group's vampires, adopted habits similar to the original mythology of her kind; she came to life in the night. And with her keen lion senses, she picked out the intruders -- and Briar's presence in the area.

Leaping into a run, the lioness shot towards the intruders, the fire in her mane flaring as thin threads of yellow zapped over her pelt. She lit up against the darkness of the sandy wastes, but that was intentional. The more fire she drew from them, the less they'd notice Briar. Recognizing Bucky from a previous raid on the Pitt, the lioness breathed a sheet of flames at the group, specifically targeting Bucky. Lagging three of her lion strides outside of their physical attack range, she grinned -- continuing to breathe fire upon them.

She'd force these tiny little beasts to come to her. Or she'd just continue flinging fire at them from a distance. Either way, she wasn't too concerned.
