The situation was too delicate to screw up, and they couldn’t risk losing anyone else during the rescue. Once the leader signaled to them that he had located their clanmates, the Warden perked up, holding back a sigh of relief. She was happy to have found them, but she wouldn’t dare express it aloud, or they could get caught. Quietly, the canine followed the rest of the patrol to where the cells were, taking a quick glance around to make sure that nobody had noticed them yet. Certainly they were all fast asleep, and Bex only hoped that they wouldn’t accidentally wake them up. Part of her was afraid at the possibility of there being guards, but everything seemed to be going as planned so far. Let’s keep it that way, the collie thought, but was also preparing herself for the worst to happen. Just in case.
