it was strange to live among others again after so long since leaving rivers, he had to sometimes remind himself he was part of a community again and to help provide for them but it was becoming second nature again - still his own paranoia nagged at him everytime he glanced in the reflection, the livid red of glowing scars along his face, neck and partially his chest was a reminder of just who he descended from.

Just what kind of monster lurked underneath that kept at bay with his own force of will and decades of battling against those darker impulses even when he had indulged in the destruction of an enemy.

The dragon heaved a tired sigh as he neared the two, the white fur of Argus his distant daughter in law a beacon in the catching light - and the same white fur of a smaller, Unknown individual - but he caught the tail end of her words, ah, someone searching for a home in the meantime - he could relate.

Still the dark dragon merely dipped his head to the two and silently stood behind argus, she'd already asked what needed to be asked, he could introduce himself after their new fellow had said there name.
