YOU'LL KNOW I WASN'T JOKING WHEN YOU SEE THEM TOO
Argus was a beast made of voices. Voices that tried to reason each other into science. That tried to reason her into doing something that had little to do with reason and everything to do with the savage joy in blood caking her fur. She was respectable, in all the years all the times she broke and fell into one voice altogether without reason, she always managed to bring herself back. Back into the reason that most animals lived by, that most animals didn't have to worry about.
Because losing her mind was always a fear. Not going insane oh, it was a lost cause at that point. But to lose the reason. The logic that clung to even the smallest child. That aerated a sentient, animal to a wild beast only to be hunted.
Argus did not usually keep to the tracks. But patrolling its length was a better alternative to the sands. It provided a much needed distraction that she needed at the moment. Even as the form of a joiner stumbling along it dark red eyes zeroed in. "what is your name, stranger?"
