His stomach turned as he thought of what destruction such a beast could cause. He wondered if this one could really speak. If even these amazing, terrible beings were capable of such intelligence as that he saw in the animals that populated this land. Perhaps this one would just attack him outright. But then it spoke. She spoke. And she didn't sound very old at all. Both intrigued and terrified, he didn't bother responding to her first statement, but then she asked for his name and this location. How unfortunate she'd come across the only person here that had no clue what this place was. Not really, anyway. He'd do his best, though. "My name is Clarence Aston. It's a pleasure to meet you, Susie. This place is called the Ascendants, although I am unable to point it out on a map for you, as I have never heard of such a place occurring on any notable maps in Britain," he answered. He was surprised at how even he kept his own voice in such incredible circumstances. What would Finnis say if he were to tell him he saw a dinosaur? It would be such a wonderful breakthrough for the scientific community. Then again, any credibility to that story would be broken as soon as he mentioned that it, and all the other animals here, including himself, spoke. This was such a strange, fascinating world. He still wasn't sure if he should be more intrigued or confused or terrified.
