JERSEY
BOY
BOY
Oh, a meeting. Not that the New Jerseyan really cared for them; he hadn't pledged allegiance to any group in months. Now that he thought about it, had he ever? He was a true wanderer at heart with no strings attached, nothing tying him down to one place. That was the beauty of travel. He was only here because Sunhaven's town had flooded over, but so far, the people here were proving to be alright. Not bad, not extraordinary. They certainly were not as vibrant and engaging as Sunhaven.
He hadn't taken a seat. He only listened in to hear the juicy stuff, but other than that, he couldn't give less of a crap about what was said at these things. Not his problem.
Then, he heard his own name and perked his ears in surprise. "A promotion, huh?" Jerseyboy mused. A Starstruck Guardian sure sounded fancy, perhaps more fancier than a Hearthkeeper, but he had to speak up before Agathe got the wrong idea, "I'm flattered, really." He twitched his tail and continued, "But I ain't lookin' for responsibilities. Sorry t' disappoint." But, as always, he was not truly sorry. There were plenty of other people — loyal members — that deserved a promotion over him. Hell, he wasn't even a full member of this place. He was technically only visiting, and for however long he hadn't determined as of yet.
Not really paying any mind to anything else, the tuxedo tom turned around and headed off to find something else to do.
