Questions no one can answer -
This was the first time that anyone was speaking to him about herbs and that it was this worlds medicine. Instead of actual medicine that he was used back to when he was being human. How the fox was able to talk so casually about the aspects of medicine between the two different worlds was certainly interesting to the Hellhound. It made him think that the other had been human at least once, which meant that they would be in the same boat and that this would make even more sense. If there were other animals that had somehow been turned from humans that would certainly be a shock to him, but it would also be great because it meant that they weren't the only one. The crew had a lot going for them after all, and they were all confused for what they were and didn't necessarily know what to do with themselves either. It also seemed like Bai Shi knew about the actual drugs that he had been talking about. Vagabond had never really been the type to dwell into the drug cartel all that much, but if there was money to be made he wouldn't mind being hired by the likes of them at the end of the day. It would be hard work, but the pay was usually good from those that were trying to keep their drugs to themselves or try and steal it from another cartel. If there was money involved, he was almost willing to do anything. There was no money in this world, and he wasn't sure if this world was technically the same from the world that he was from. There were human structures that were scattered about here and there, but even then he had his doubts that any of this was real.
Vagabond seemed to look at Bai Shi with a little bit of disbelief. Actual leaves were used as medicine here. What time period was he in for fuck's sake? The crazy lion talked about sacrifices and everything, but now the talk of putting herbs, which wasn't drugs, on his wounds sounded a little bit insane. "You've gotta be kidding." The former human would say with a straight face toward the fox. The other's expression didn't change when he spoke. "You actually are serious." Vagabond wasn't exactly sure what to think at this point. The former human seemed to get a little lost when the other talked about different bodies. What was that supposed to mean? He didn't really know and honestly didn't pay attention to what Bai Shi talked about bodies in order to save his own sanity even if it was just a little bit. Bai Shi seemed to be going off, but that was understandable considering that the other was just a kid in Vagabond's eyes at least. The other said that he smelled funny? Vagabond couldn't really tell all things considered as his mask basically blocked out any scents that tried to reach his nose. "Exploring." Vagabond deadpanned where he had been just a couple moments ago. Even if he could answer where he had been, he wouldn't be able to as he didn't exactly know this area. He didn't know what groups were called, and that there were actually other groups in the area. A low sigh escaped his jaws, craning his neck to the side until he heard his neck pop.
"Not really no. I doubt an animal knows what a human is so there's no bother to try and explain why I don't know." Vagabond stated calmly. Being a former human meant that he believed himself to be a little bit smarter than the likes of an animal. How smart could animals be in the first place? Then there was a lot of information spread to him at the last couple of statements made by the fox. He knew that he shouldn't be worried by a fox, but someone could be wary of a teenager that was on the street just the same. Most people were capable of killing someone at a very young age as long as they had the right equipment. Hell, someone could kill someone with just a pencil. He flicked one of his ears at the question at the end of everything, and Vagabond would remember what the fox said about his father. Was he an orphan? Entirely possible, and that concerned the Hellhound a little bit. "I don't know herbal remedies. Look just show me what I need and I can do it myself." He would much rather learn than have someone touched him. Vagabond absolutely refused to be touched by anyone in this world, and he was fairly certain that if the other tried he, he would probably attack him on basic instinct. He was just looking to compromise with the guy here, and get this day over with. Besides, he had been trying to learn exactly how to fix himself up so that he could help his crew whenever they got injured.
