[div style="text-align: justify; width: 50%; font-family: georgia; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px; margin-top: -15px;"]There wasn't as much to do up in the mountains as there had been back down in town. Bex was beginning to miss the place, and could only hope that they'd soon be able to return to clean up after the mess that the flood had made. But for now, they were stuck here, just doing what they can with what little they had. Whenever she was bored, the collie often found herself strolling along the mountain, and snapping some photos of the breathtaking view. She had a feeling that they would make for some great photos to hang up on her walls - once she actually had walls again, that is. While trying to take one of those photos, however, the woman suddenly heard a child's yelp coming from not too far away.
Rather concerned, Bex swiftly wrapped her camera strap around her neck and darted off in the direction of which she heard the noise come from, pricking her ears and lifting up her muzzle to try to sniff out the kid. It took her a minute of searching, but the collie soon found herself gazing at the wolf pup, eyes widened as she observed him. "Hey kiddo, you okay?" She inquired, tilting her head with a slight frown. "I know that rolling down hills is fun and all but you gotta make sure to be more careful." Now, small hills were always fine to roll down, but not even adventure-loving Bex would advise anyone to roll down a mountain. That was just insane.
Now seating herself down by the pup, the larger canine offered him a reassuring smile. She began to wonder where he came from, and how he managed to climb up here all by himself. She certainly didn't remember him being a part of Sunhaven before. Was he here all alone? Where were his parents? There was much that the goldenblood was wondering, but she was sure it would all be made clear soon. This wouldn't be the first time any kid ended up in Sunhaven on their own before, anyways. "What's your name? Mine is Bex." She thought that she might as well try to make him feel comfortable, especially since his time on the mountain didn't seem too joyous so far. He had taken a pretty good fall, and was just lucky that he didn't end up rolling off completely.
