There was mostly a selection of junk food, mainly chips and some candy. Finally, the collie pulled out a poptart, as it seemed to be the most nutritious option that she had available, and handed it to the child. "Here's some food," she woofed gently, hoping that Mangle would take a liking to poptarts. She did have more snacks to offer if she happened to dislike them though, but really, is there anyone who actually doesn't like poptarts? Bex wouldn't want to be that person that actually does hate poptarts. That's no way to live.

"Yeah, we'd be happy to take you in," the woman added along with her clanmates' other comments, offering for the child to stay. Bex knew that she shouldn't have to be all alone, and even if her stay ended up just being temporary, it was better than to leave her out here to fend for herself. Besides, she had already given her some of her food. The kid needed to be cared for, especially since she didn't seem to have a clue as to where she came from. That was troubling. The canine did her best to continue to smile however, not wanting to reveal any negative feelings and end up causing Mangle to worry. She was certain that the more calm she was, the more calm the child would feel too.
