He wasn't expecting her name to be Jiro, visibly flinching when she said it. It was better for him not to say anything for now. It didn't matter. She was just like everyone else in The Typhoon, he would treat her the same. Fur bristled slightly, he realises how he has let time shift in between them. While she had been welcomed, the Reaver had stood back and said nothing. He was a mere witness of events, detached from the situation. "Barracuda Bay is in that direction," the ragdoll finally says, pointing towards the area with his raised paw. He doesn't feel tempted to introduce his name, no interest in seeing her reaction when he takes a breath of fresh air and decides he will likely continue to patrol through the rainforest or go back home to sleep. There is no need for him to stay around any longer. The more of his classmates came to the island, the more the memories came back to him - the memories he didn't want to remember. It only made his feelings burn, embittered by his lost past. He needs to look forward and he can start that by leaving, moving off into the forest without another word.
