[div style="margin: 0 auto; border-width:0; width: 70%; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; line-height: 1.5; font-size: 9pt;"]The kitten has his chest puffed out, head high and tail pointed toward the stars. He doesn't look particularly scary but he's putting in the effort to look as brave as possible, prove his self-proclaimed title as his family's warlock prince. He doesn't know fear because he is naive, an oblivious little boy who lives within the realm of his mind, distracted and not realising the true weight of the world around him. He thinks he is protecting his sister, he thinks that he is invulnerable. Even though mama sometimes casts him a look of worried concern, he believes that he is strong and capable. His heart will never bound him because he loves too much, is afraid of too little. The boy furrows his brows along Stella's words, nodding his head in agreement to what his sister was saying. While he thought that Stella tended to say strange and funny things about angels and cherubim, he only thinks of it as the girl's own fantasy universe she lives in. He wishes they could share the same image but Elijah's visions cannot cross with hers. Without knowing the words, the child knows that there would be inconsistencies. Regardless, he is glad that Stella does not wish for the rabbit to be treated so poorly.
His fur fluffs up at Caesar's words. He still doesn't feel scared of the dream demon but he feels hurt by what the Head Officer thinks of prey. He doesn't hear the next words that leave the Officer's mouth, not realising that he was speaking again but beginning to notice the hostility that swells within the thick air. "Get away from her or I'll fight you!" he warns him with a cry, wings spreading when he sees Caesar's eyes lock onto Stella in an attempt to shield her appearance away from him. He doesn't like how the savannah is still stalking towards her, ignoring his presence in front of her. Even though the older male is getting closer, he doesn't expect him to actually attack until he sees the glint of sharp claws right about to swipe at Stella. He feels his own world freeze, fade into black and white, eyes wide. His own body loses feeling, numb that the only thing he felt was the warm tears that were ready to run down his cheeks in a mere blink. It was as if the earth went silent, muted by the spark of adrenaline within him, moving so fast that by the time Luca appeared and bowled the savannah over, Elijah had only just begun to scream. It was a shrill of a scream, absolute terror, the child beginning to shudder and sob. "STOP IT!" he shouts, words broken, face wet with hot tears.
He only then realises his father fighting Caesar, ears deafened by the panic, consuming his initial childish bravery. "P-Papa, you -..." the smile that had formed on his face, his look of relief that Luca had come to save them, was shattered. He swallowed dryly. Although papa, at this moment, was his hero...Elijah was suddenly afraid of the way Luca's lip curled in a snarl, the glow of his father's eyes, the look of a monster. He didn't know how to feel, trembling that he couldn't stand, staring without blinking. Seeing Caesar react to Luca only made it worse. Was this...his fault? Had he caused this? Was he the reason papa looked so angry and was fighting Caesar? He doesn't want his father to be hurt, doesn't want anyone to fight. His blue eyes, watered, catch the movement of the Officer's leg. "STOP IT! STOP IT, PLEASE," the child screams again, fluttering his wings in a weak attempt to pull himself up. The moment his legs began to feel the soil, he starts running towards Caesar and Luca to try and get in between them. "PLEASE DON'T FIGHT -- PLEASE! I DON'T WANT YOU TO FIGHT, PAPA! I DON'T -" his voice is strangled by the array of crying that follows, the boy recklessly trying to stop the battle but will likely be hurt in the process if not stopped.
