TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR // sleepless night *OOC Prompt 11/10* - CAESAR CIPHER. - 11-10-2018 YOU'RE ATTEMPTING TO BORE ME !
CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. HEAD OFFICER.
//after the nightmare that caesar experienced, has he become more paranoid and jumpy? is he unable to sleep now? if so, what does he do in the dead of the night? Small gore warning in the last paragraph! To say Caesar was more paranoid and jumpy was a tad bit of an understatement. The demon's recent outbursts could be contributed to his lack of sleep recently, due to fear of experiencing another nightmare he couldn't control. In fact, Caesar didn't really seem to return to his room very often and instead stuck to the jungle, searching for some place to sleep there, thinking that the noise that the jungle made would ease him into a better sleep. Unfortunately for him, these attempts to get comfortable was a failure, ending up with Caesar being more crabby and irritable than normal. His fur was more unkempt than usual, sticking out in messy clumps from where the Officer decided not to take care of himself properly. As for what he does in the middle of the night, that would depend on how he felt throughout the day. Tonight, however, Caesar was still pissed over Bakugou's promotion to Quartermaster and the demon took it upon himself to take out his frustrations on some poor prey and trees that happened to cross his path. Multiple trees had been scratched, forming both just normal claw marks, and occasionally a triangle. If somebody happened to come across Caesar right now, however, the demon would be laying on the ground with his hind legs out from behind him, his tail tip flicking back in forth as he toyed around with the rabbit in front of him. The piece of prey had multiple wounds across its body, as well as having its eyes plucked out, in which Caesar had chucked them randomly somewhere. Right now, Caesar was tearing open the rabbit's stomach with his teeth and claws, trying to get at the rodent's intestines. Bright red blood covered his teeth, lips, and the tips of his claws, to which he didn't even bother to clean off. His focus was on the rabbit in front of him, imagining it as Bakugou. I should be Quartermaster. Caesar growled to himself. Not you. "playing with your food is a disgrace to the life they served for you." pride and stubbornness never permitted stella to express visibly the innates fears she held warning her to not become the next victim, a loose belief that caeser wouldn't attack a fellow crewmember keeping the ragdoll child from fleeing. CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. HEAD OFFICER.
Quite frankly, Caesar was nearing the point where he wanted to snap at his crewmates. Hearing the noise of the fabric Stella wore, he looked up and watched her approach, baring his blood-stained teeth at her. "Merely talking to me is a disgrace on your part." He snarled, narrowing his eyes at her. Re: TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR // sleepless night *OOC Prompt 11/10* - elijah - 11-11-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; border-width:0; width: 70%; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; line-height: 1.5; font-size: 9pt;"]Elijah's reason for being awake was different to Stella's. While his sister was a light sleeper, awoken by the ruckus caused by the Head Officer, the boy was awake on purpose. He was trying to see if he could catch fairies outside, sneaking around the rainforest and finding toadstools. He would lie down perched, eyeing the glisten of their smooth surfaces, waiting for the glow of a mythical creature to appear. Bottom wriggling in the air, he dares not to make a breath louder than the wind, narrowing his semi-illuminated eyes. After a while, he feels himself giving up. The child stands back up onto all fours, sighing to himself before beginning to walk back. His gaze only just narrowly misses the look of claw marks, head suddenly thudding. A werewolf? While a child Elijah's age should have turned around and started running, perhaps even crying, a glimmer of radiating excitement shot through his body. His eyes twinkled, the child immediately following the trail of beaten up trees, sniffing about as if he were a miniature hound. His tail wagged behind him, following sign after sign until he sees the stark whiteness of Stella's cloak. He feels his heart stop for a moment. What if Stella was in danger? What if she too had been following the werewolf tracks? He nibbles his bottom lip, anxious when he approaches to see a brightly coloured savannah, baring his teeth at his sister. His fur bristles but he refuses to let his sense of fear get in the way with his foolish, childish bravery. He can't hear what Stella or Caesar are saying, looking at the poor mauled rabbit and feeling a painful pang in his heart. He claimed himself to be a warlock so he had to prove himself, he was determined to prove himself. With the bravest face he can muster, he steps in front of his sister. "Away foul beast!" the child squeaks, ears flattening against his cranium, "I won't let you hurt any more nature or rabbits!" He doesn't know it yet but Elijah has a spiritual connection to all pests being the demidemon of infestation. He felt a strange love for keeping rabbits and insects safe that looking at the poor rodent made his insides squirm with a sense of injustice. "Otherwise you'll have to go through me." Re: TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR // sleepless night *OOC Prompt 11/10* - stella - 11-11-2018 [div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 550px; min-height: 9px; font-family: arial; line-height: 109%; text-align: left; padding: 20px;font-size: 12px;"][div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 550px; min-height: 9px; font-family: arial; line-height: 109%; text-align: left; padding: 20px;font-size: 12px;"]vicious the way caesar looked, vile the thoughts stella had about the dastardly officer. when the foul demon spun around, bloody teeth bared to the cloaked child like unspoken warnings, albeit the fears eating away at the angelic hybrid told every ounce of stella’s soul to abandon the scene and flee the devil’s touch. faith, it kept stella rooted in the moment and helped her to manage at least only a grimace in the face of the terrifying demon rather than a childish breakdown. something very near on the brink. ”i know i disgrace the blood of the lord within me by talking to filth like you, but i’m a humble cherub and disgrace myself in order to lend my lessons to you. take them.” arrogance did not just deep into idle words of the high and mighty angelic hybrid, their soul bathed in it and every syllable that left the child was fermented in it. lavender hues kept themselves high, stella’s chin up and chest puffed. with a bewildered visage, stella spun around at the sounds of their brother arriving on the scene with an entrance only describable as heroic. of course. elijah was a carbon copy of the same components that comprised of stella, her equal in grace and elegance, eli was also so much worthier than caesar. his hearty roar of pride and justice filled stella with excitement, thrilled to see caesar hopefully transcend his sinful urges and contemplate on his actions. something that realistically seemed more like wishful thinking. but nonetheless stella cheered on her brother, her blood, lazily glancing up to caesar’s soiled mug to bear witness to the officer’s reaction from the hybrid children’s defiance in the face of his intimidation. would he back down? or would the demon prevail in his blood’s calling? CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. HEAD OFFICER.
Caesar's black gaze snapped to Elijah as the child came and stepped in front of his sister, clearly trying to protect her. Disgusting. The demon growled to himself. Utterly pathetic. He slowly rose to his paws, claws scraping the earth as he did so. "Rabbits are prey, are they not?" He growled at Eli. "They were created to be eaten." Maybe not to be played with like he was doing, but they were food. Whenever Stella spoke, however, something sparked within Caesar that caused him to snap, in a metaphorical sense. They were angels, or at least partially. Perhaps if he had the ability to read others' auras, he would have noticed already, but unfortunately that power has not come back to him yet. But whenever Stella started speaking of 'the Lord', the Officer began stalking towards the child in front of him now, his mouth slightly agape as he let out soft growls. "If you think," He stated with a sickening smile. "I'll listen to your 'lessons', you have another thing coming." With that, Caesar aimed to swipe out at STELLA with one of his forepaws, claws unsheathed. He was mostly nocturnal by nature, and although he had managed to break from that for a while, after the exhaustion of the kids he had managed to step down and fall back into his old ways. The cool wind was a relief against his hot skin, and he took pleasure in the atmosphere as he made his rounds across the island. Although he usually hated feeling alone, there were time when it was almost a relief. His claustrophobia was fading, but it was still a very real thing. No amount of love for his boyfriend and children would erase what had happened to him all those years ago. The thought made him stop and frown, and for a moment he thought that the coppery smell of blood he'd picked up on the wind was a result of the bad memory. But then it intensified, and he realised that it was more that just a trauma-fuelled hallucination. Although he wasn't a high position anymore, it was still his obligation to check on anything suspicious. If there was anything dangerous on the island it had to be dealt with, if not for the clan then for his kids. He turned to head towards the smell. It wouldn't take long with those enhanced senses of his. In the past, Luca had watched as Caesar tortured a child. He seemed to take pleasure in it, despite a number of his crewmates telling him that it was unacceptable behaviour. At the time Luca had been rather passive, for he wasn't one to act all high and mighty when it came to crime. He was a torturer himself, and a murderer, and everything in between. It was hypocritical for him to get mad over things like that. However, that fear of hypocrisy would not save Caesar from the hellhound's wrath. It was a completely different story when it came to his children. They and Junji were the only thing anchoring him to whatever peaceful state he'd managed to latch on to. As he emerged from the surroundings to come across the scene, there were no words for the rush of emotion that took over him. The grass beneath him hissed and wilted as his body temperature rose, anger so deep it made his heart ache eating away at his restraint. Caesar had always been an amusing one. Fun to watch, especially when something got him fired up. Although it was clear by the way Luca leapt at Caesar that this time around he was less than amused. He aimed to bowl the feline over, ignoring the viscera of the dead rabbit. If his mind wasn't so one-track it would have been quite the distraction, but he had not time now for getting flustered over blood and guts. "Disgusting," He hissed, irises alight with the hypnotising glow of bloodlust. "Attacking Typhoon children? No wonder a kid was promoted before you." Regardless of whether or not his first attack had landed, Luca's jaws would part before lunging at the feline's throat. In all his blind rage, he seemed to forget that they were being watched. Not that the fact would have stopped him. Re: TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR // sleepless night *OOC Prompt 11/10* - CAESAR CIPHER. - 11-13-2018 YOU'RE ATTEMPTING TO BORE ME !
CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. HEAD OFFICER.
Ah, yes, that was right; he had tortured children, hadn't he? Caesar held little to no morals, and at the point, the demon didn't care. Since Bakugou had been promoted, the demon had been more prone to snap, lashing out at his crewmates at the slightest hint of irritation he held. Luca's children were no different. Caesar had no time to react as the hellhound revealed himself, instantly bowling him over. The air was briefly knocked out of him as Luca forced him to the ground. Luca's teeth suddenly latched onto his throat, though the only thing Caesar felt was a quick prick, almost as if he was getting stabbed by something. His throat felt numb from where Luca had a hold of it, though he paid no mind to it as he tried kicking at LUCA's stomach. [member=1517]Luca[/member] Re: TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR // sleepless night *OOC Prompt 11/10* - elijah - 11-13-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; border-width:0; width: 70%; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; line-height: 1.5; font-size: 9pt;"]The kitten has his chest puffed out, head high and tail pointed toward the stars. He doesn't look particularly scary but he's putting in the effort to look as brave as possible, prove his self-proclaimed title as his family's warlock prince. He doesn't know fear because he is naive, an oblivious little boy who lives within the realm of his mind, distracted and not realising the true weight of the world around him. He thinks he is protecting his sister, he thinks that he is invulnerable. Even though mama sometimes casts him a look of worried concern, he believes that he is strong and capable. His heart will never bound him because he loves too much, is afraid of too little. The boy furrows his brows along Stella's words, nodding his head in agreement to what his sister was saying. While he thought that Stella tended to say strange and funny things about angels and cherubim, he only thinks of it as the girl's own fantasy universe she lives in. He wishes they could share the same image but Elijah's visions cannot cross with hers. Without knowing the words, the child knows that there would be inconsistencies. Regardless, he is glad that Stella does not wish for the rabbit to be treated so poorly. His fur fluffs up at Caesar's words. He still doesn't feel scared of the dream demon but he feels hurt by what the Head Officer thinks of prey. He doesn't hear the next words that leave the Officer's mouth, not realising that he was speaking again but beginning to notice the hostility that swells within the thick air. "Get away from her or I'll fight you!" he warns him with a cry, wings spreading when he sees Caesar's eyes lock onto Stella in an attempt to shield her appearance away from him. He doesn't like how the savannah is still stalking towards her, ignoring his presence in front of her. Even though the older male is getting closer, he doesn't expect him to actually attack until he sees the glint of sharp claws right about to swipe at Stella. He feels his own world freeze, fade into black and white, eyes wide. His own body loses feeling, numb that the only thing he felt was the warm tears that were ready to run down his cheeks in a mere blink. It was as if the earth went silent, muted by the spark of adrenaline within him, moving so fast that by the time Luca appeared and bowled the savannah over, Elijah had only just begun to scream. It was a shrill of a scream, absolute terror, the child beginning to shudder and sob. "STOP IT!" he shouts, words broken, face wet with hot tears. He only then realises his father fighting Caesar, ears deafened by the panic, consuming his initial childish bravery. "P-Papa, you -..." the smile that had formed on his face, his look of relief that Luca had come to save them, was shattered. He swallowed dryly. Although papa, at this moment, was his hero...Elijah was suddenly afraid of the way Luca's lip curled in a snarl, the glow of his father's eyes, the look of a monster. He didn't know how to feel, trembling that he couldn't stand, staring without blinking. Seeing Caesar react to Luca only made it worse. Was this...his fault? Had he caused this? Was he the reason papa looked so angry and was fighting Caesar? He doesn't want his father to be hurt, doesn't want anyone to fight. His blue eyes, watered, catch the movement of the Officer's leg. "STOP IT! STOP IT, PLEASE," the child screams again, fluttering his wings in a weak attempt to pull himself up. The moment his legs began to feel the soil, he starts running towards Caesar and Luca to try and get in between them. "PLEASE DON'T FIGHT -- PLEASE! I DON'T WANT YOU TO FIGHT, PAPA! I DON'T -" his voice is strangled by the array of crying that follows, the boy recklessly trying to stop the battle but will likely be hurt in the process if not stopped. Re: TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR // sleepless night *OOC Prompt 11/10* - stella - 11-13-2018 [div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 550px; min-height: 9px; font-family: arial; line-height: 109%; text-align: left; padding: 20px;font-size: 12px;"]anger and violence. oh well, the high hopes that stella had somehow harboured for the officer to display compassion was all just mindless wishful thinking in the end. was the cloaked child surprised? of course not, caesar was an uncontrollable demon with a bloodlust and a thirst for chaos - it was second nature for him to lash out at what he didn't like. this particular thing just happening to be stella's holy words. neither shock nor disappointment bit at the edges of stella's mind, just fury that the demon had taken his sacrilegious intents out on the naive angel instead of himself like he should. repent. arm outstretched, sharp razors filled with a malice so pure and potent in nature that even before they reached stella's rosy cheeks they were felt as hot as flames, they came for blood. they came for angelic blood. the demon committing this sin looked too sinister - he drew forth more with a wicked grin plastered to his face like a horrible funhouse clown, stella merely blankly staring up into his expression with a gaze equally as dead as the officer's morals. the words that he spoke mere moments before taking the plunge into violence were the most chilling however. the petulance, the spite, dripping from his words mocking and trivialising the things stella preached were things the child wished she could erase from her memory. along with that face. the moments that occurred afterwards were but a mere blur to the child, something of which no discernible emotion could be linked to, the first thing stella could remember was a hot burning sensation spreading out from her face and extending to the middle of her left cheek, a sticky but sweet-smelling substance leaking out from the small nick caused by the man. purple blood intermingled with stella's coffee-hued cheek fluff and caused it to become crusty and gross. shock took its natural course with the one third mortal child, her body producing the adrenaline responsible for stella's increasing heart-rate and panting breath and pulsing it through her veins like a hose. lavender infused tears pricked at stella eyes, blurring her vision of the ground and threatening to overflow. the child held back - crying was weak, weakness wasn't a quality of angels and stella was so much more braver than that. so much stronger. people around the child became faceless and shapeless blurs of colour, lavender gaze drifting up from the muddy ground to see who had bowled over caesar before the officer could take another jab at the cloaked child with heavy eyes. from sight alone stella hadn't a clue who it was, but could tell from sound and feel that this was their father - here to save his young. a demon, but a more enlightened one than caesar. if it had been any other strong member of the typhoon then stella would have been elated to have their protection. but father, stella loved her father and feared that the more ungodly demon would overthrow stella's demonic dad and actually hurt him. stella didn't want father to be hurt, that hurt stella too - it was caesar's fault this was all happening. he should have just listened to what stella had to say to him, he should have just complied and repent for his sins instead of trying to attack the young angel. "dad.. don't hurt dad.." pathetically stella's soft-spoken voice grew quieter because of the wind being knocked out of the child when caesar attacked. bunching up soiled cloth, the child huddled in to the comforting warmth of elijah and prayed silently for another typhoon member to come and aid father.
