He much rather preferred remaining in camp, where there were dry buildings and less pungent sludge. However, sometimes he had to poke around the outskirts of the town for his own reasons. For collecting different plants, for observing the various specimens of bugs, for perhaps "practicing" in a private area. While the mud was disgusting, he tried his best to avoid it.
As he was wandering about, he caught sight of a dragoness questioning a pitiful soul caught in a trap. Marvolo was lucky that he hadn't gotten himself caught in one of those upon stumbling across the Tanglewood border. He would have been boiling mad, and nobody wanted to see that. Marvolo's demeanor was calm and neutral as he approached behind Amunet, and he had stolen a few moments to gaze upon the serpent herself. She was brilliantly stunning, radiating with grace and elegance, although that was likely his fascination for scaled creatures talking. His gaze then fixated upon the feline that was caught in the trap, and Marvolo stated, "If you're smart, then you will provide an answer as soon as possible." His tone was firm, though not stinging or harsh. He tended to be rather straightforward while interacting with others. "Dangling upside down isn't too favorable, now is it?" The male slightly cocked a figurative brow.
