going up - o, joiner - fabrie - 04-14-2018

//feel free to skip to the last paragraph ++ sorry if this is a mess!

Tsukiko had failed everyone. She couldn't complete her duty as a guardian, and now, everyone was gone. Everything she built her life off of had disappeared in an instant. She was left wandering without a purpose. It wasn't like she could go back to her old life; she owed everyone too much, and she didn't know if she really had the heart for it anymore. Besides, she didn't even have the strength to do so.

The feline had been wandering for at least a few months, with no words exchanged between her and any other being. Solitude had been so rare for her for so long; she'd almost lost track of time. It was painfully lonely, with her feeling nothing but desperation. There had to be something she needed to do. This couldn't be it - it couldn't just end like it did. And with that, she set out to find something, even if she had no idea what it was.

Lost in thought, Tsukiko had been meandering a small ways Tanglewood's territory for a while. Obviously, she had been uninformed about the clan. Still, a scent clung to the place, indicating that at least a few people had been through the area. Another thing she had been unaware of was the traps.

Seemingly out of nowhere, a net had closed in around her, as she was swept off of the ground. No, no, no- this was bad. Who would even set this up? Tsukiko figured that they were somewhere nearby and they weren't going to be friendly. She stayed still for the time being, in order to not tangle herself up even more, as she attempted to assess her situation as fast as possible. She didn't want anyone to catch her.

Amunet had been going through the swamp and the sound of a trap being set off made the dragoness' ears immediately flicker in the direction of the sound, her long craned a bit as she turned her eyes to try and see if it was nearby. The dragoness would proceed to wad her way though the mud her talons starting to get caked by the mud itself only to spot something caught in one of those net traps, her pupils narrowed as her neck stretched out a bit until her nose practically touched the net feeling the fur of the stranger brushing against her snout. Her lips slightly peeled back showing off pearly whites almost as a warning for the stranger, Amunet was becoming more cautious of who came into Tanglewood's territory and the Chaser seemed satisfied with herself by letting out a snort that seemed to make the trapped creature sway a bit. They weren't from the Typhoon but they were still trespassing, the dragon would use one of her talons to cut the where the net was being held. She would then make sure her head was nowhere near hitting range and would ask in a calm voice "Your name? Are you lost?" Her tail swayed behind her and the tip of her tail slowly appeared from behind her, the stinger resembled one of a scorpions but much larger much dangerous. "What are you even doing here, hm?" With a sharp talon, she'd attempt to lift the stranger's chin up to get a good look at her but she had no intentions of harming Tsukiko unless she was given a reason to. She pulled her taloned foot back close to her waiting patiently for a response.

[align=center][div style="borderwidth=0px; width: 55%; color: black; line-height:115%; text-align: justify;font-family:arial;"]Marvolo couldn't say that he particularly enjoyed exploring the swamp. He much rather preferred remaining in camp, where there were dry buildings and less pungent sludge. However, sometimes he had to poke around the outskirts of the town for his own reasons. For collecting different plants, for observing the various specimens of bugs, for perhaps "practicing" in a private area. While the mud was disgusting, he tried his best to avoid it.

As he was wandering about, he caught sight of a dragoness questioning a pitiful soul caught in a trap. Marvolo was lucky that he hadn't gotten himself caught in one of those upon stumbling across the Tanglewood border. He would have been boiling mad, and nobody wanted to see that. Marvolo's demeanor was calm and neutral as he approached behind Amunet, and he had stolen a few moments to gaze upon the serpent herself. She was brilliantly stunning, radiating with grace and elegance, although that was likely his fascination for scaled creatures talking. His gaze then fixated upon the feline that was caught in the trap, and Marvolo stated, "If you're smart, then you will provide an answer as soon as possible." His tone was firm, though not stinging or harsh. He tended to be rather straightforward while interacting with others. "Dangling upside down isn't too favorable, now is it?" The male slightly cocked a figurative brow.

well, well, someone got themselves caught it seemed - Fenris ambled after the other two, towering over the serval but coming to a height of his fellow gods shoulder? in her current form, he didn't say anything - what else need to be said after marvin-Marvolo even and Amunet had already handled the obvious.

So seems he was relegated to lurking beside the two like an overly menacing bodyguard - the aura of crackling fire and faint scent of ashen iron probably didn't help toward any comfort.
