//feel free to skip to the last paragraph ++ sorry if this is a mess!
Tsukiko had failed everyone. She couldn't complete her duty as a guardian, and now, everyone was gone. Everything she built her life off of had disappeared in an instant. She was left wandering without a purpose. It wasn't like she could go back to her old life; she owed everyone too much, and she didn't know if she really had the heart for it anymore. Besides, she didn't even have the strength to do so.
The feline had been wandering for at least a few months, with no words exchanged between her and any other being. Solitude had been so rare for her for so long; she'd almost lost track of time. It was painfully lonely, with her feeling nothing but desperation. There had to be something she needed to do. This couldn't be it - it couldn't just end like it did. And with that, she set out to find something, even if she had no idea what it was.
Lost in thought, Tsukiko had been meandering a small ways Tanglewood's territory for a while. Obviously, she had been uninformed about the clan. Still, a scent clung to the place, indicating that at least a few people had been through the area. Another thing she had been unaware of was the traps.
Seemingly out of nowhere, a net had closed in around her, as she was swept off of the ground. No, no, no- this was bad. Who would even set this up? Tsukiko figured that they were somewhere nearby and they weren't going to be friendly. She stayed still for the time being, in order to not tangle herself up even more, as she attempted to assess her situation as fast as possible. She didn't want anyone to catch her.
