Trees were meant to be her friend, right? Trees were meant to love faeries, because she took care of them daily, because her presence was like water to them.
Then why did she keep tripping over their roots and running into them?
Pale pink eyes glanced up as she shifted herself into a standing position once more, rubbing her chin idly. Her ears flicked upwards as the sound of squealing caught her attention, and with a muddy paw, the medic slid her paw over the ground and focused. One person, only one person. They seemed to be running around, and the earth told her it was probably a child with how heavy and clumsy their pawsteps were.
That had the pastel feline moving, her three legs carrying her quickly through the undergrowth, eagerly trying to make it to the child to see what the hell they were up to- why was a child alone?
"Excuse me?" The blind medic called out, hoping she didn't scare the child. "What's your name? Are you lost?" Delilah asked curiously, before remembering her manners and dipping her head anxiously. "My name is Delilah, I'm the medic here in Tanglewood." She meowed, her tail tip twitching.
