Koda thought he was starting to get the hang of prancing around the territory. Yes, prancing. Why would he walk? Walking sounded boring and although it did save the snow leopard from tripping over his own huge paws, it wasn't nearly as entertaining as prancing. Running was alright, though any form of exercise is overlooked. He also had to carry around his notebook, making running a bit challenging too. But prancing held just the right amount of speed and enjoyment. It's faster than walking and he won't tire as swiftly if he were to run. Did he sit down one day and actually contemplate his mode of travel? Of course. He had nothing better to be doing. Things have started to get repetitive for the child who yearned for adventure and excitement. Sitting one place has never been his forte. Being able to live in such a vast area with many places to discover helped him, but it'll only be a matter of time before every stone is turned; a day he both looked forward to and feared.
As always, the notebook and pen hung from the clutches of his jaws as Koda pranced through the forest in a carefree manner. He had decided to take notes on the various flowers that grew in the territory and mark their location just to keep himself busy. Now that he thought about it, he should have asked around for a book about flowers so he wouldn't have to give them nicknames and hope he remembers which one's which. Lifting his paw, he rubbed his nose as he crouched beside a blue flower. He had not the slightest clue as to what it was, but he decided to nickname it "bluejay" and carry on with his task. Continuing on, it seems the invisible path he had laid out for himself brought him to a bird, lion and raccoon. A strange bunch. Curious, child bounced over, slowing when he realized Eddie was an unfamiliar face and ever so slightly flattening small rounded ears in a timid manner. Sticking close to the other Roses, Koda placed his notebook on the ground and wrote down an introduction. "Welcome to the clan, Eddie! I'm Maekoda but you can feel free to call me Koda." He then held it up shyly, somewhat hiding behind the book while doing so.
