Ichigo knew about the spirits. As being someone that had to deal with spirits and ghosts every single day of his life he usually knows how some of them acted and why some of them wanted to stay in the world of the living. It was literally his job to relate the spirits that were in this world so that the place wouldn't be overrun with corrupted spirits which could just as well happen while he wasn't watching. The Shinigami didn't want anyone to get hurt by the likes of the spirit, but spirits were also everywhere so he knew that he was going to see them everywhere he went. There was no escaping the aspect of death in the wild, after all, so he was going to find sentient creatures that needed to cross over to the afterlife and he would be the one to help them. It was a hard job, but he had been doing it for almost five years now and had his own methods of dealing with the dead and making sure that they were comfortable to leave. It was dealing with the corrupted spirits that usually followed after regular spirits would end up becoming an issue if he didn't address it. From where he was from, the name for a corrupted spirit was called a Hollow. It names defined exactly what it was, and it devoured souls that it came across in order to make it stronger. Each Hollow was different and was almost completely invisible to the naked eye. Unless of course one had clairvoyance and had the power to sense the creatures when they were coming around. His sword was specialized to destroy the likes of a corrupted spirit and purify their spirit in the end so that they could cross over into the afterlife. Ichigo had only been in the clans for a couple days now and had a lot of information to absorb.
So much information that the Shinigami hadn't bothered to try and get any sleep since he had arrived, as he had a lot of work to do. Seeing this many spirits at once and everyone didn't make all that much sense to the Shinigami. He usually would be able to get into contact with others like me, but he wasn't sure if he would be capable of to where he was at right now. It would certainly be difficult, but if he needed back up he wasn't going to have much of a choice but to contact them. Either way, he had no idea what was causing the influx of spirits in the area or where they were coming from. Ichigo didn't have all the news in the world when it comes to the clans that live in the area, only knowing of the Ascendants, the Pitt, and the Typhoon. That was the extent of his knowledge as he hadn't managed to travel through all of the different clans that were around the area. He also had to choose the one that had an ocean attached to it, Ichigo having been terrified of the ocean in general. But he was going to stay here for now until he got his bearings. Up until this point he had never heard of Tanglewood in his entire life. No one had mentioned them to him, whether it was in a meeting or just a simple conversation. He didn't blame them as they weren't supposed to educate him on anything, hence why it was common for him to go off on his own to seek the answers that he wanted. When he was a leader of a clan, he had made sure that all of their allies would be welcomed, whether they were in contact a lot or rarely so. He wasn't going to just leave them out to dry because what kind of person would he be if he did that? Everyone needed some sort of remorse for those that they interacted with and needed some form of sympathy too.
Thinking in such a way helped so many, and it would always be the way that Ichigo would begin to think when it came to the clans. Hell, he didn't know what would have happened to the clan that he had returned to that was about to be taken over if it hadn't been for him asking a larger ally for help in driving them away. The wildcat had thought he was going to lose his home forever, and he knew that his clan hadn't been keeping in contact with them for who knows how long. But the leader knew him, her name being Tama, and she had a caring soul. When he had sent a message through the use of his owl, the female didn't even remotely hesitate to help them. Ichigo had been glad that he had stopped them in their tracks so that he could have his home again. That would be the second time he would be a clan leader and he brought his group all the way back to greatness once again. Leading a clan wasn't easy, and sometimes tough decisions were going to be needed to be made. The Shinigami didn't really have all that much of an idea of what was going on as he walked around with his enhanced hearing on. he was trying to listen for anything suspicious on the border considering what was happening with the Ascendants. But he also had his clairvoyance on to be on the lookout of souls that he could help to the afterlife. He had tried to keep Sunhaven as free from spirits but he was only one man and could only do so much in the end. A sigh escaped his jaws as his paws were starting to ache after constant walking. Indeed, Axle would be right about the aspect of a cougar living in the area. As far as he knew, the wildcat was the only one of his species that lived in Sunhaven. A familiar instance that Ichigo was used to because even from the clans that he came from cougars were rare.
He heard voices off in the distance thanks to his enhanced hearing and began to make his way over toward where the voices were coming from. The armored cougar teleported himself near the largely growing group. What in the world? There were so many of them. They looked like an entire clan. Hearing Marina's words, his attention turned back to the group that was mostly canines. Although the shape of an owl took Ichigo's attention in the trees. It was obvious that the owl was a ghost, and his job as a Shinigami was to keep a tally, especially if there were ghosts that were living with clanners. The Japanese swordsmen attention didn't remain on Airin for very long as he looked at the rest of the canines that had gathered. Ichigo didn't seem remotely all the suspicious for the group and didn't see any issue for the group. He flicked the black tip of his tail as he adjusted the large sword on his back before speaking, a tired grin spread across his facial features. "I'm sorry to hear about what is happening in your territory. But as stated by others, stay as long as you need." The wildcat said calmly toward the clan that was in front of him. He didn't know what group they belong to, but if they were going out seeking shelter that was all that mattered to the Shinigami. "The name's Kurosaki Ichigo. Nice to meet ya." A former leader would say casually, as he would make a mental note to figure out where the group's territory was at. Sounded like the problem was worse than he imagined and he was going to need to try and fix it as best as he could.
