Izuku doesn't know why he ran away from Snowbound. Genuinely, he doesn't, and the guilt is crushing. Who would be there to tend their wounds? Support Atbash? Izuku hopes they're doing well without him, though, even if it means he's just been .. replaced. (he hopes he hasn't been, though.)
His original plan had been to find Kirishima and join the Typhoon. He's .. not sure why he didn't. Except that he is and he's lying to himself. There's still that Snowbound loyalty deep in him, and that part of him definitely holds a grudge against the Typhoon. So he's putting it off. He doesn't need people, anyways. He -- remembers being tired of the lines of his classmates that showed up. He isn't anymore, but he doesn't really want to seek them out, either. Maybe it's masochistic of him, that part of him wishes to go back to the days of the wilds. He yearns for the burn of electricity under his skin, claws tearing through either him, or other people. And, y'know, that's absolutely terrible. Sickening, really. Hero in training Izuku Midoriya, inheritor of One for All. Izuku, healer, fighter, killer.
.. He's tired.
He's not sure where he is. This could, in part, be blamed on how high he'd flown. How little he'd looked as he did so. There was something about the wind under his wings that was soothing. Comforting. He felt like all was right in the world, he was untouchable. He had no responsibilities or loyalties, no horrible urges. No worries about his classmates.
He hopes anybody that appeared in his absence did fine without his guidance.
"E -- Excuse me," His voice is hoarse from disuse. He hasn't spoken to anybody but himself in a while. Not since leaving Snowbound. He's not even convinced he's not fucking hallucinating. That happens sometimes. But .. well. He's standing right in front of them, having landed on the ground near the stranger. They .. appear to be completely whole. So he's probably .. not? He hasn't had one in a while. Largely because he's been drugging himself into sleep, but this is entirely besides the point. The green-furred feline allows a tired, weak grin to alight on his maw as he regards the lion. They're so much bigger than he is. .. It's a little comforting, though that might be .. strange of him. He couldn't claim to be fond of towering over literally everyone he encountered as a dragon, and he kind of .. scared some of them. And that wasn't ideal. "Hi! Um -- I'm. Kind of lost. Could you, ah, tell me where I am?" Group members tended to be fairly friendly, at least depending on the group in question. So he was pushing his luck here. Izuku could live with that. Worst come to worst, he could just shapeshift, anyways. "Uh -- I'm Izuku, by the way," .. He isn't quite sure why he decided to land here and pester a poor fellow. Why a group? Why wasn't he just content with aimless wandering anymore? .. After a moment of thought, Izuku concludes that he's been in denial and is, in fact, just incredibly lonely, so he's starting small talk under the guise of needing directions. Needless to say, Izuku has had better plans. He's also had worse plans, though, so living with ... this .. wasn't terrible.
