throw it in reverse - izuku - darci - 10-23-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 70%; text-align: justify;"]He left the sanctuary of the camp without so much as a word. Knowing not a single soul here was a bit lonely and it put him on edge. All Might had yet to figure out just who these animals were, yet, he sensed no ill-will out of any of them. Time. Time was all it would take for him grow use to this place. It was beautiful here, the beach and the town alike, but he enjoyed staying up in the mountains. With the raging storm in his mind, it was the only place he could find peace. For miles all he could hear were the sounds of chirping birds and feral animals going about their daily lives. Being someone of his size, most feral animals steered clear of him, making his trek up the mountains much easier. The large cave system up here offered him protection from the small rain that swept over the land, even if it only lasted a few moments. Tis' the season. All Might stood upon a ledge that overlooked the green valley below. Pinning his ears back, he scanned his eyes over the landscape, not looking for anything in particular. It was almost too quiet. Out in the distance did he spot a small herd of deer, though the idea of hunting did not come to him. His belly was full and there was no need to take a life without just cause. Expelling a quiet sigh, the blonde lion took a seat, tail curling around his paws. Re: throw it in reverse - izuku - arcy - 10-23-2018 Izuku doesn't know why he ran away from Snowbound. Genuinely, he doesn't, and the guilt is crushing. Who would be there to tend their wounds? Support Atbash? Izuku hopes they're doing well without him, though, even if it means he's just been .. replaced. (he hopes he hasn't been, though.)
His original plan had been to find Kirishima and join the Typhoon. He's .. not sure why he didn't. Except that he is and he's lying to himself. There's still that Snowbound loyalty deep in him, and that part of him definitely holds a grudge against the Typhoon. So he's putting it off. He doesn't need people, anyways. He -- remembers being tired of the lines of his classmates that showed up. He isn't anymore, but he doesn't really want to seek them out, either. Maybe it's masochistic of him, that part of him wishes to go back to the days of the wilds. He yearns for the burn of electricity under his skin, claws tearing through either him, or other people. And, y'know, that's absolutely terrible. Sickening, really. Hero in training Izuku Midoriya, inheritor of One for All. Izuku, healer, fighter, killer. .. He's tired. He's not sure where he is. This could, in part, be blamed on how high he'd flown. How little he'd looked as he did so. There was something about the wind under his wings that was soothing. Comforting. He felt like all was right in the world, he was untouchable. He had no responsibilities or loyalties, no horrible urges. No worries about his classmates. He hopes anybody that appeared in his absence did fine without his guidance. "E -- Excuse me," His voice is hoarse from disuse. He hasn't spoken to anybody but himself in a while. Not since leaving Snowbound. He's not even convinced he's not fucking hallucinating. That happens sometimes. But .. well. He's standing right in front of them, having landed on the ground near the stranger. They .. appear to be completely whole. So he's probably .. not? He hasn't had one in a while. Largely because he's been drugging himself into sleep, but this is entirely besides the point. The green-furred feline allows a tired, weak grin to alight on his maw as he regards the lion. They're so much bigger than he is. .. It's a little comforting, though that might be .. strange of him. He couldn't claim to be fond of towering over literally everyone he encountered as a dragon, and he kind of .. scared some of them. And that wasn't ideal. "Hi! Um -- I'm. Kind of lost. Could you, ah, tell me where I am?" Group members tended to be fairly friendly, at least depending on the group in question. So he was pushing his luck here. Izuku could live with that. Worst come to worst, he could just shapeshift, anyways. "Uh -- I'm Izuku, by the way," .. He isn't quite sure why he decided to land here and pester a poor fellow. Why a group? Why wasn't he just content with aimless wandering anymore? .. After a moment of thought, Izuku concludes that he's been in denial and is, in fact, just incredibly lonely, so he's starting small talk under the guise of needing directions. Needless to say, Izuku has had better plans. He's also had worse plans, though, so living with ... this .. wasn't terrible. [glow=black,2,300]I WONT BE HERE LONG AT ALL ☀[/glow] Re: throw it in reverse - izuku - darci - 10-23-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 70%; text-align: justify;"]Azure eyes caught sight of something moving in his direction, but whether it was a threat or not, well, he was unsure. Through his eyes, anyone of that size who indented to forwardly confront All Might must have had a death wish of some sorts. Even without his powers was the lion able to hold his own, but the idea of fighting at the moment was a bit displeasing. He had fallen out of practice and was confident that his skills were rusty and still needed to honed. Perhaps he would get to it before the end of the week. The male was certain that if his name circulated around that some would catch wind and set out to hunt him down. All Might was not too worried about it, but he still needed to keep his wits about him. He had not seen any of the students or other pro-heroes since he 'reincarnation', and, apart of him, was uncertain if any had crossed over the way he had. All Might had heard whispers and rumors of Bakugou and Kirishima residing in a place called the Typhoon, but he was not sure where that was. Should he even try to search for them? His mind held so many uncertain questions that he was not sure where to even start. As the feline spoke, he pinned his ears back, eyes gazing down upon the other. They were not from here, but that was not a just reason to act hostile. If they did not hold any malicious intentions towards him, All Might saw no reason to be so defensive. "This is Sunhaven," spoke the lion, his tail tip flicking to and fro. They simply appeared the be lost, which was not hard to become if one wandered through the mountains. It was a rather vast space that even he had trouble navigating. Even if he did get lost, it was to be expected for he had only been here a day or two. Izuku? His eyes grew wide at the mentio of this stranger's name. Could this be? No, it must have just been a simple coincidence. "Izuku Midoriya?" questioned the lion as he examined the cat. Re: throw it in reverse - izuku - arcy - 10-23-2018 Well, Izuku didn't look like much of a threat. If it weren't for the intense marring of scars across his coat, he'd hardly even be registered as a threat. Izuku doesn't mind. It's better to b underestimated, anyways. That was a lesson learned the hard way, of course -- a reputation meant people knew what to expect from you. It gave them an edge over you.
So Izuku was understandably wary of the stranger's(??) recognition. There was a little spark of hope in his chest, a soft chant of anotheroneanotheroneanotherone. Reasonably, they could of just heard of him elsewhere, though. Izuku had been well known in Snowbound before he left, and while he didn't reach out himself, he was fairly social outside of it. .. But, well. It wasn't frequently that he introduced himself with his surname. Izuku, of course, thought there was a fine line between who he considered 'midoriya' or 'izuku'. It was ... some sort of identity crisis, he's sure. Midoriya was the hero. Izuku was just ... him. ".. Yes," Izuku agrees, a wary edge to his voice as he regards the lion. He doesn't have terribly high expectations of lions as a whole. Stryker was a lion. And he was basically the only lion Izuku had met, and he should really stop thinking about Stryker before he reacted badly. The maine coon's ears go flat. ".. Who are you?" He says, just a hint of anxious demand in his voice. 'Demands' weren't hard, not after his stint as both Frosthealer and Snowseeker. It .. probably isn't incredibly necessary, though. Sunhaven. Last Izuku had been home, they'd been allies with them, right? So Izuku just had to claim himself as a lost Snowbounder if he got into trouble. Which isn't quite a lie, luckily, even if Izuku happens to be willfully lost. They'd welcome him back with open arms if he showed up, he's sure. It had been foolish of him to assume Izuku would instantly recognize him in this body. There was no distinguishing marks or scarring on his body, so he probably looked like any normal light-furred lion. Apart of him enjoyed standing out, though, many animals in the groups were rather taller than him. He had been told he always looked rather intimidating. "I'm All Might." It was the first time he actually spoke of that name, and it felt good. While his true name was not so bad, he had simply gotten use to be called his hero name. How Izuku managed to even find him out of sheer accident was beyond him. Chalking it all up to luck, he tried to wrap his mind around it. "Where are the others?" he questioned before taking a seat. Despite being an animal now, his age still persisted. He half-hoped that he would be given a much younger body, but he supposed he was pressing his luck already. [mobile & rushed] Re: throw it in reverse - izuku - arcy - 10-23-2018 A flicker of realization. Izuku regards the other with slight shock, just the subtle widening of eyes, tail giving a sweep. But ... He settles, fur he wasn't aware was raised now flattening against his neck. This was a fairly mundane conversation to be having, all things considered. Izuku should probably stop comparing his encounters with his classmates to his first one, with Aizawa -- that was just embarrassing. He cried. Which wasn't unusual for Izuku as far as his clanmates knew, but Izuku had grown out of the habit quite a while before said meeting.
Izuku doesn't say anything. He's tired. He doesn't know how chatter-y he was before he .. died. He's not the same boy that he was then, and there's this little mudball of anxiety in his chest. It feels hard to breathe. (he's killed, he knows the taste of blood. he'd wanted to kill stryker, and he wasn't even a good person, much less a hero, anymore. how hard would it be for all might to figure it out? anybody else?) .. On unsteady legs, Izuku takes the few steps closer to his .. former? mentor? And, very softly, uncertain, he attempts to butt his head against the other's leg in a form of greeting. Possibly a strange form of greeting to All Might, but Izuku doesn't know how long the other has been here. .. But then again, he hasn't heard anything about the other, so he couldn't have been in the circle that was society too terribly long. Immediately after this, though, he scrabbles back. (how does he interact with people? what does all might expect from him? how does izuku become midoriya? that was who they all wanted, wasn't it?) ".. Kirishima and Kacch -- B ... Bakugou. Bakugou, are in the Typhoon," ... Trying to emotionally distance himself from the trainwreck that his relationship with Ka-Bakugou was proving far, far more difficult than he anticipated. The maine coon's ear flickers as he considers further. "... Aizawa disappeared from Snowbound a few months ago. Tsuyu -- you don't want to know," He shakes his head. He doesn't want to talk about it. (it really just serves to fuel the cold fury he felt when it came to the Pitt. He wanted to rip them apart. It was nothing more than they deserved, he thinks.) "... I saw some others briefly but ... I don't know where they are." He shrugs. He hasn't encountered anybody in a month or ..two, anyways. All Might is the only person he's talked to in a long time, so this is unsurprising. Kirishima is probably more caught up on current affairs than Izuku is, really. [glow=black,2,300]I WONT BE HERE LONG AT ALL ☀[/glow] Re: throw it in reverse - izuku - darci - 10-23-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 70%; text-align: justify;"]An overwhelming amount of guilt washed over him at the sight of Izuku crying. He felt as if it was his fault, all of it. All Might had lost his quirk and was helpless in saving any of his students and teachers alike, himself included. All Might had failed at what he knew best. It was disgusting. He, too, felt like breaking down and crying, but he had been numb and alone for so long that he even forgot what it felt like to cry. Eyes stared down at the cat as he headbutted his leg before he brought his tail around, attempting to tap his tail tip against his student's head, trying to comfort him. What felt like a bowling ball growing in his stomach made him tense up with unease. This should be how it went, but there was nothing he could do but be thankful he was alive. He would get use to this, but he was still in denial. All Might grimaced as Izuku went on about where everyone was. It was a very, very small number of names, and it frightened him. Kirishima, Bakugou, Tsu, and Aizawa. He could see his fellow teacher disappearing like that, but if he had not gone in search of the others, well, he was not sure. Perhaps he was in worse shape than him, mentally. It was a miracle that All Might was healthy and whole, his old injury gone and his body at a healthy weight. "Still a crybaby I see," jested the ion, trying to lighten the mood. He was always good at bringing light to the darkness. "I'm glad they're alright. I'll make sure to visit them and, hopefully, find the others." Finding the others was a long shot, but he had faith, even if it was empty. "And what about you, young Midoriya? How have you been?" |
