There were probably two, maybe three, exceptions to this rule and Marina was not one of them. No, the Sunhaven leader was only given a predatory stare, golden gaze as bright as two flames as she wrinkled her nose in disgust at the black bile around her mouth. The scent of blood tainted the air and for a moment, she felt that witchling lust rise within her, the need for battle and for death rising in her like an almost unstoppable force. She kept her cool only because she did not want to have to deal with two bodies instead of one, remaining the picture of calm collectiveness as she finally parted her lips to address their visitor.
"May I ask what your business is here?" Her inquiry was not pleasant but it wasn't unpleasant either. It merely existed in some stoic middle ground, an extension of her expression itself. She was not so hot headed and unintelligent to start spewing ridiculous statements at Marina and, by her dreadful appearance, figured that the leader wasn't in the mood for that either. As little as she pitied those affiliated by illness, she figured that she might as well do her one kindness. "I heard about the recent drama. Is this body collateral damage?" She continued, not all sounding accusatory but merely inquisitive. She didn't know much about what had transpired on the border, just that things had gone awry. No matter, Agathe supposed that all of her questions would be answered shortly.
