(No worries buddy this is great! And yeah you can't really tag his account due to the ' | | ' in the account name sadly but its all good! And don't worry, I probably won't to keep up lots of muse in a thread either haha. Also! If given permission, would it be okay for Ichi to see Wendell's aura? If so feel free to describe what his aura looks like or I can make somethin up! As Ichi memorizes aura's better than names.)
In a war, no side ended up winning. Some would beg to differ when it comes to the end of the war and one gives up and the other does not. What does the other side win though when the other surrenders? Majority of the time it just stops the fighting and nothing else happens between the two groups. They don't acquire anything, and it was like the time before all the fighting had started happening. When he was only a year old, a youngster in the eyes of others, he didn't know what a war was. Ichigo had grown up in the mountain range with the rest of his family, both of them being cougars like he was. His species seemingly rare when it came to the clans that he did end up going to. The wildcat didn't really give it much thought though, as his family wasn't a clan. They defended their territory from other predators, but that was usually about it. They were solitary majority of the time. There were no massive groups for them to fight in the means of their honor. Instead, it was just themselves until they all died. Ichigo wasn't sure if his father was still alive since he was indeed a Shinigami, but over the course of 4 years? He doubted the other was actually still around. Maybe he had finally kicked the bucket. Which wouldn't be surprising. The oversized cougar was on his own for almost an entire year after his mother's death, and he only came to learn the aspect of war when he joined his first clan. It was a group that was centered around the aspect of a Hawk, and he wasn't sure what to think about the group when he arrived. Of course, they had looked at the katana that he had with him back in the day.
They were at war with another clan at the time, and Ichigo didn't know anything about clan politics and just started walking in a random direction until he found someone to talk to. It wasn't exactly strange for him to do to decide to roam around for a little bit. When he talked with someone that thought he was an enemy, they actually ended up becoming good friends thanks to Ichigo's casual manner. When his clan did find out tho that he was talking to the enemy, they certainly didn't like it. But if it brought them members from the other group they didn't really try to approach him about it. He went to every clan to interact with them, and it was up to them whether or not they wanted to be aggressive to him. He wasn't going to be aggressive as long as they didn't try to blatantly attack him. He still remembered the faces of those that he was friends with before they ended up dying like the rest. When he became the leader of a clan two times, he wasn't surprised that he was given the option of whether or not to go to war or keep it silent. One group started problems in the very beginning, and in order to preserve the likes of his clanmates from being injured constantly, he went to war against them. Their larger size was far too much for them to bare, and evidently, they left the enemy alone to disappear in the wind as they broke apart. The second time that he was the leader, there was a far more approaching threat, a group that was enemies with every clan in the area and was full of exiled members. They were known for capturing children and torture them, killing children and anyone they came across. It was horrid, and they had set their sights on his clan. The clan was repairing itself from his absence, few members were actually still around, but he built it from the ground all the way up to peak performance. They were able to easily defend themselves from two groups, but it was rare that Ichigo would often instigate a rate back as a means of revenge.
Revenge wasn't something that he took lightly, as he knew how toxic it could make someone. With his decreasing mental health through the aspect of revenge over the years were definitely prominent and something that he would more than happily do now if it meant he would get after the killer of his daughter again. Revenge got nowhere, and there were no winners in war. Ichigo had no idea that this group was in the middle of a war, and that there were plenty of groups that seemed to enjoy a significant amount of violence. All that Ichigo knew was that the group were traders. He had mixed feelings about traders, but from the looks of it, they weren't the traders that sold drugs and alcohol. He never did any of those, and no intention of letting his clan partake in those. Ichigo didn't know anyone in this Sunhaven, and he wasn't about to start fighting in a war that he didn't know which side to join. Would he probably eventually leave this group? Potentially. The Shinigami was on the move a lot in order to make sure he was protecting those that lived in this world. Right now though he was trying to get the lay of the land and doing his damned best to avoid the damned ocean. Why did the first place he ended up going to have to be the ocean? Despite how tough he looked, Ichigo was terrified of the ocean for the many horrible experiences near drownings from enemies. He refuses to go near the water if he can, and he doubts his mental state would be able to contain itself near a large body of water if he was pushed into it.
It wasn't hard to hear the largely armored cougar moving around thanks to that his metal and leather armor rattled with each step that he took. His bi-colored eyes constantly looking around to see if he could see anything interesting and also looking for any spiritual threats as there were always those. He flicked one of his black backed ears as he stretched his back left leg that was covered in scars from a crocodile attack years ago. Eventually, he caught an unfamiliar scent and turned his head in the direction only to see.... a picnic. Well, that was interesting, he hadn't seen a picnic in years. This was true because he had been living a solitary life for an entire real-life year. Finally, his eyes came to land on a wolverine. Oh. It was the wolverine that was upset and had left the meeting as soon as it was over. The other seemed to be content but also tired, so the Shinigami thought he might as a couple questions to get an idea of what Sunhaven was and their relations to other clans. Ichigo made his way over, stopping at the opposite edge of the blanket, not wanting to interrupt the wolverine if he was waiting for something. "Nice picnic you got here. I'm Kurosaki Ichigo." The Japanese swordsman introduced his last name first in the traditional way, before rolling his shoulders and adjusting the sword that was on his back so that it was settled in between his shoulder blades. "Say, how long have you lived here?" Ichigo would ask slightly curiously as he tilted his head to the side. It was an honest question, as he needed to know how reliable the wolverine's info would be.
