[align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-size: 9.4pt; line-height: 1.4;"]Look, Gabe wasn't exactly the friendly neighborhood kitty or pooch with a cute face and general "aww" factor. He wasn't natural, was the combination of two creatures vastly different, and it had taken him several months to start accepting that the reflection he saw was his. Beyond that, he'd thought he'd seen his fair share of strange beasts with their own idiosyncratic mutations. And then there was Moon, who fit in his own category- though the thought wasn't as playful as it might have been after recent events. He wouldn't launch into a mental rant of shit he'd regurgitated in his head just about three thousand times by now, though fortunately, it was pretty easy to find a distraction. Unfortunately, he didn't know what the fuck the distraction was, and the longer he stared at them the more he was convinced that this was another of his fucked up hallucinations, and in a few seconds he was going to fall back into the present, maybe even literally.
"La chingada," he muttered, but he couldn't walk away. Odd as the...deer? Maybe? Was, he couldn't ignore the crying. Never could. His one weakness. "Hey, uh, kiddo. What's your mom look like? I can help you find her." Probably. If his headache didn't kill him first, and if he didn't limp and trip into a hole somewhere.
