"m̷̖̆m̸̜̌.̶̠̓.̵͉͊.̴͓͠ ̸̦̃m̶̳̄ȁ̷̯m̸̢͝a̸̜̒.̵͇͠.̴͖̓.̶͈̉"

she's not here.

a stutter in their steps, a stumble over a branch. the world around them warped and twisted, worsened their struggle, made the slow dragging steps stagger and shudder over the ground. their lips blubbered slightly for a moment, a soft keening slipping out into the night, an eerie coo for someone that was no longer around. where was she? "m̵̖͂̐o̷̹̮͒t̴̰̍͝ḩ̶̉̓ẽ̷̫̬̓r̴̢̨̂r̶̫͙̈́̈r̷̗͋r̶͚̮̿̓r̵̛̭̂.̶̩͌.̶̫͓̒.̷̡͇̿"

she will not come.

the beast moved slowly from the shelter of the trees, out into the bare plains, lit only by the moon. their pelt seemed to glow beneath it, eyes shining starkly as the light hit them. a low wailing filled the emptiness of the night as they shuffled through the tall grass; they called and called for their mother, claws dragging, tearing through the soil. a small curl to their lip revealed sharp fangs, and another horrid cry echoed out.

"Ṁ̸̔͜Å̵̪A̸̛̠̥̽-̷̯͛̐M̴̞̝͝A̵͚̫̓Ả̵͇̠͝A̷͎̅Ḁ̶̪͑À̸̳̌.̴͙̓.̷̬̮̀̂.̶͇͒.̷̬̻́"

Re: king of all / trespasser - GABRIEL - 10-16-2018

[align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-size: 9.4pt; line-height: 1.4;"]Look, Gabe wasn't exactly the friendly neighborhood kitty or pooch with a cute face and general "aww" factor. He wasn't natural, was the combination of two creatures vastly different, and it had taken him several months to start accepting that the reflection he saw was his. Beyond that, he'd thought he'd seen his fair share of strange beasts with their own idiosyncratic mutations. And then there was Moon, who fit in his own category- though the thought wasn't as playful as it might have been after recent events. He wouldn't launch into a mental rant of shit he'd regurgitated in his head just about three thousand times by now, though fortunately, it was pretty easy to find a distraction. Unfortunately, he didn't know what the fuck the distraction was, and the longer he stared at them the more he was convinced that this was another of his fucked up hallucinations, and in a few seconds he was going to fall back into the present, maybe even literally.

"La chingada," he muttered, but he couldn't walk away. Odd as the...deer? Maybe? Was, he couldn't ignore the crying. Never could. His one weakness. "Hey, uh, kiddo. What's your mom look like? I can help you find her." Probably. If his headache didn't kill him first, and if he didn't limp and trip into a hole somewhere.

Re: king of all / trespasser - agathe. - 10-16-2018

[align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 11px; color: black;"]It was that ungodly sound that brought Agathe from the shadows, large paws leading her muscled form towards the pair with a luck that danced the precarious line between disgust and bewilderment. She dared to draw her golden gaze away from the creature for but a second, those glowing eyes of hers filled with brief confusion as she glanced towards Gabe. This thing could prove to be a threat and yet, the older male seemed intent on helping it. Was it because it was merely a child? Or was there something else that fueled his decision to offer his assistance? She decided against questioning him aloud, instead returning her stare to the strange entity to further try to understand why it was here.

"Hm," She breathed finally, trying to ignore the pit of dread that blossomed in her stomach, "Is it injured?" She couldn't tell, not without getting closer to the creature and if Agathe was being honest, she possessed no desire to take any step that would take her from Gabe's side. She did not understand the draw to anything much less a child. Her grandmother had ensured that she had been raised without a single maternal bone in her body and that much showed as she stared at the stranger. Perhaps it would have been wiser of her to ignore this situation all together- she was hardly capable of providing any help to Gabe.

a quiet keening escaped the creature as they laid their distorted gaze on gabe; what was he? who was he? was he going to hurt them? the deer let out a gurgled rumble and stopped moving, though they swayed where they stood, primal instinct fighting to be let out. they didn't want to eat, not right now. this winged thing at least sounded like he wished to help, and the tone of his voice helped to somewhat soothe their jittery nerves. their mother... what did she look like?

"ś̵͚s̵̤̐s̶̈ͅh̸̖͛e̶̯͊'̶̖̔ś̷̼.̴̆ͅ.̸̙͠.̵̨̔ ̷͎̽p̸̝̑ŕ̷̬ė̸͎ṭ̸̑ẗ̶̫́y̶̦̌y̶̛͍y̶̬̐.̸̖͌.̶̦̐.̵̭̿" they droned and slowly drew closer to gabe. their long neck stretched out to him, ice cold breath puffing at him for a moment, before they whined quietly. "who... y̷͔̎o̶̦͗ū̶̹?̷̱̉" the creature slowly turned their gaze to the next; a pretty feline, silver with dark spots. "pret...ty." a bob of their head and they shifted toward her before stopping and shuffling a few steps back. not safe. they let out another gurgled noise. "ẅ̸͔́ḩ̸͠ȅ̴̩r̴̥̿e̶̝͝e̷̫̐e̴̟̚e̵͚̒?̴̪̈"

Re: king of all / trespasser - GABRIEL - 10-16-2018

[align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-size: 9.4pt; line-height: 1.4;"]Gabriel had never really imagined what the demons his mother mentioned would sound like. As a child he'd mostly seen them in the faces of the cruel people on the streets, but their voices hadn't been especially intimidating, and once he got older, he thought even less of malevolent spirits. But, if he had to take a guess, the sound of hell was definitely in this deer...deer-ish's voice. But no need to provoke them. Agathe was right to be a little cautious considering the size of the damn teeth, though honestly, his headache had the most to fear. The only volume control he'd ever picked up was duct tape or knocking someone out, and again, sharp teeth, so neither.

"I can't tell," he muttered, and his head took the grating sound of the deer's voice and amplified it tenfold because it was "fuck Gabe" month. "Pretty?" Excellent. Very helpful. Gabe was already three fourths of the way to finding her, and his beak parted to talk again when the deer lowered down to his face, snorting icy breath in the equivalent of jamming freezing toes up someone's ass. Well, it was an experience for the scrapbook. Which he would burn.

"I'm Gabe. Does your uh...mother look like you? Or her?" Gabriel wouldn't say Agathe's name, in case she didn't want it shared. He wouldn't blame her. He wasn't looking forward to hearing his name come out of that mouth, if they did say it.

"What the Hell is this?" Oni questioned allowed, a single blue iris cold and unwavering as he eyed down the.. Creature. Was it a deer? It looked odd, odd things didn't make sense to the were-vampire, but he wanted to understand.

Sadly, Aloysius didn't feel the same about this thing.

"Kill that creature, Host. It is but a threat." He spoke mentally to Onision, making the chocolate felidae flinch visibly. Why kill the poor thing? It was younger than him, wasn't it? If it was talking, it was sentient. He wouldn't drink from something that isn't willingly giving itself to him.

[align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 11px; color: black;"]"Pret...ty."

She took a step backwards, mentally cursing herself for appearing so weak in the face of something that shouldn't have frightened her. Agathe had dealt with far worse and lived, the scars that decorated her muscled form reminders of the monsters that had been struck down by either herself of a combination of her power and her sisters'. Why did this poor, lost child possess the uncanny ability to unnerve her as much as they did? And why could she hardly try and meet its gaze without feel uncomfortable and in danger. She knew that she was probably far more intimidating to the young being, but still, those razor sharp teeth were nothing to handle lightly.

The leopard would glance once again in Gabe's direction, the frown that already danced upon her pale maw deepening. No offense to the kid, but I'd disappear if I birthed something like that too, She thought, and then immediately hated herself for it. She had once been an entity that thrived off of cruelty, but she wasn't that girl anymore. Not here. She couldn't be. "Was your mother hurt?" She finally decided to inquire, voice level despite the tumultuous emotions that roared like an open flame within her. "And it's a child... I think..." Those words were directed in Oni's direction, golden eyes darkening. A child. A child. It was still hard to believe.

"ug...l̸̜͂y̶̳̅̕y̶͍͖̳̚y̷̧̛͍̤̐̑.̴͖̼̅͜" it shifted slightly and let another pained wail loose, jaws stretching open until the thing screamed. black tinted tears fell from their eyes for a brief moment before they calmed and once more hung their head. they looked up mournfully at a third voice, just in time to catch the cat's flinch. was that because of them? the beast keened softly and turned their eyes to gabe, watching his body shudder with the static film, before edging closer once more.
