completely gone, venus was completely gone with the waves crashing in to the bay's sandy shores rhythmically. how horrible it would be to be an ocean - you only got to do what the wind told you to do, only went where the wind wanted you to go. never tasting freedom. in the world of make-believe sentient oceans venus hoped that they were a fish, hoped that their actions were deliberate and purposeful and not just a part of some higher being's schemes. gods were silly notions.
entranced by their own bizarre musings, venus only noticed the sudden arrival of a trio of typhoon members as soon as one of them popped up right in front of venus in an unnatural fraction of a second. oh venus hated those with powers. or adored them. but resentful or envious, either way the display bakugou put in front of venus had the silvery vulpine jolting into movement once more as sapphire eyes grew to size of saucers before venus had the chance to process the situation. suitably satisfied with the confirmation that they were not being threatened, venus let their expression soften from the one of shock. "to talk to um.. you guys?" uncertainty crept into the sunhavener's answer - gaze drifting between the three as if to confirm their doubts. "i've got a society to propose between typhoon and sunhaven, but i'm not quite sure who to talk to. typically in sunhaven you'd be wanting to discuss these kinds of things with marina, but you guys do it differently right? or do i need to talk to uh, pinch, yeah that guy? forgive me, politics are a bore." to accentuate their point, venus made sure to make their subsequent sigh very dramatic. though as the vulpine let their gaze open once more to take in the sight of the young boy in front of them, the child looked ready to kill - not the forgiving type. how unfortunate for venus.
another of the trio spoke up, his tone and mannerisms almost bewildering venus and sending their emotion-recognising-machine hidden away in their noggin haywire. so weird. if the sunhavener were to be informed that this were the famed feral handler owen, perhaps venus would go crazy asking him questions and begging him to let venus at least come and meet the raptors, but they weren't informed. instead of drooling over his babies, venus gave the man a uneasy look of mild confusion. "good? um, i have a really thick coat so i enjoy the cooler months, but i think i'll miss the sunshine when winter comes. the sea will become too cold to swim in too - that's sad." rambles continued to spill from the silver-toned teen's mouth. the initial intents of the passive aggressive remark fading further and further into venus' oblivious nature - the only inkling that the kitsune had that they were supposed to be intimidated by the older male being the unnaturally aggressive 'kid' at the end. albeit in comparison venus was very much a 'kid' in comparison to the adult in front of them and therefore the remark wasn't too out of ordinary. why couldn't everyone be so much clearer when they were asking venus to feel things? they were happy to oblige, but had trouble with all this hidden meaning shit.
finally however, venus would give their entire attention to junji, the angelic presence in the midst of passive aggressive torment erupting from the sunhavener's arrival. who knew someone's citizenship could cause so much distress? at least junji showed enough amicable nature for venus to be at ease with his words and feel much more comfortable talking with him. "are you- the soothsayer here? i've heard about you, i've just never met you. junji right? my name's venus, i'm a solbinder back in sunhaven, which basically means i'm one of the medics. fancy words like solbinder are just for show." nods of hopeful nature were bestowed upon the angel in gracious quantities, venus so sure that the description of the male fit what they had come to formulate as 'junji'. if the kitsune had it wrong they might die on the spot of embarrassment though. "i think you'll be able to see the medic's society i'll propose today as something both groups can benefit from greatly. more so than any of the other typhoon members, you and your sage." alike minds had to stick together.
