SCENTIST (✚) SUNHAVEN - venus - 10-13-2018

a trial alliance then - alright. with complete honesty venus would argue that the typhoon had it easy and were being too fussy with their friends, sunhaven were the ones who were meant to be cautious; typhoon members had killed one of sunhaven's own. but once more the kitsune lamented on the dogmatic natures of leaders and their sometimes unforeseeable decisions. it was like they were another species to the silvery teen - maybe they were the ones venus should be studying. yet no, never could venus let go of their everlasting and unconditional love for ferals. venus prayed they might see one today.

crossing once more over the bridge to the typhoon, sapphire gaze curiously grazed over the surroundings as the sunhavener idly wondered about the various unique flora and fauna native to these lands. already venus could spot with their blurry vision, colourful oddities hidden away in the nooks and crannies of rocks that they wistfully had to leave behind for now. hopefully after today the solbinder would be able to learn so much more about the world in typhoon. if the group agreed to venus' proposal - of which they arduously hoped that they would. it was a win-win situation for both groups, but from typhoon's previous disposition when the alliance had been proposed, venus had doubts slowly trickling into their mind and clouding their visions of a society were medics could work together for the better of intelligent-kind. it would be a miracle to hope that all of the typhooners could share venus' plans, but it was an impossibility that none of them would. hopefully the sage and soothsayer would be more understanding.

haunch firmly placed on the ground, ears piqued for the sounds of typhoon members scurrying around, venus let their lazy gaze wander past the borders to the glimmering bays in the distance. their scents filling the silver-toned vulpine's nose and setting the kitsune at ease. it was almost like back in sunhaven - the sea's scents and hot sands underfoot, but distinctively different at the same time. venus wanted to bottle some samples of typhoon's local waters. but for now, the teen impatiently awaited the typhoon's arrival.

Re: SCENTIST (✚) SUNHAVEN - Grey - 10-13-2018

Bakugou has never liked Sunhaven and for that reason, he will always stand against them. If they ever wanted to be on his good side, to please him after destroying his first impression of them, they would need to work for it. Politics, however, never sided with personal feelings. No, it was all about the big picture - the real benefits. Fortunately for The Typhoon and to Bakugou's dismay, the vote had come to a tie and they were faced with a trial alliance. Unlike some of the other pirates who rejoiced at the idea of having opportunities for new connections, the Reaver dreaded the idea of having to see their faces. He already disliked the Rosebloods enough, consistently unimpressed by their stuck-up attitudes and rouge-ish mannerisms. He feels comfortable enough with island's own strengths but, if he has to admit, they were significantly weakened now. It makes sense to allow alliances to occur between The Typhoon and Sunhaven because it benefited them while they were temporarily unable to raid and battle.

He saw the girl approaching from far away, trying to ignore her and waiting silently for someone else to approach the merchant fem. Bakugou would rather not deal with their current 'allies' but the longer he waited, concealed by the undergrowth vegetations of the forest, the more he realised no one was going to come until he did. He scrunches his nose, tempted to walk as slowly as possible toward the foreigner but also knowing that it would cause a lot of possible snark to be directed towards him. Bakugou merely sighs as he teleports in front of her, his cream features materialising in the instance that he allowed impulse to take over him. "What do you want?" the male asks with a hiss. To a stranger, he would appear rude but to any other Typhooner, they would be able to tell that he was trying so begrudgingly to be helpful. Usually his words would come attached to swearing or some nasty comment that could be summarised to Bakugou telling the other to either die or get the fuck out, but today he was trying to be at least reasonably cooperative with their 'allies'.

Re: SCENTIST (✚) SUNHAVEN - JUNJI - 10-13-2018

sunhaven held some interest for him; their leader was certainly... well, something. in the times that the haven had come to visit, junji had not been present, but word got around the island. a trial alliance between the two groups would be interesting. he cared not for what happened among the non-medical ranks, but he had actually been hoping to make a visit to the trading clan's territory to get a grasp on what herbs they had at their disposal and to see if he could learn more about their methods.

the appearance of their solbinder was a welcome surprise. junji had been wandering the beach in search of flowers to place around his little hut, when soft blue eyes settled upon a figure at the railroad gate. he hesitated for some moments until the scent of sunhaven wafted to him, and though he was still rather cautious to approach, the smell of a potential ally eased his nerves. bakugou padded over without any reluctance and hissed out a question to them. jun was glad to see the boy was back. the soothsayer limped his way over and offered the two a small smile in greeting. "hello." he murmured. he set his gaze upon venus and fell silent then, simply awaiting their response.

To be honest, Owen hadn't liked the idea of Sunhaven becoming allies with the Typhoon. He didn't like Monroe, and he for sure didn't fucking like Buckingham. He wasn't in charge of anything that happened, though, and his girls had been closer to their nest recently than anywhere else. He could only assume that it was because of their injuries and his own. The indominus rex wasn't pleased when he scented out Sunhaven, but he knew there was a trial alliance going on. He had to keep his hands to himself.

The dinosaur walked over to the explosive male, his feet causing the ground to rattle under him as he watched the Sunhaven member. A visit? "How's the sunshine, kid?" Owen asked snarkily, half-referring to the dead Dawnguard, the Sunhavenner he had ripped in two during his last visit.

completely gone, venus was completely gone with the waves crashing in to the bay's sandy shores rhythmically. how horrible it would be to be an ocean - you only got to do what the wind told you to do, only went where the wind wanted you to go. never tasting freedom. in the world of make-believe sentient oceans venus hoped that they were a fish, hoped that their actions were deliberate and purposeful and not just a part of some higher being's schemes. gods were silly notions.

entranced by their own bizarre musings, venus only noticed the sudden arrival of a trio of typhoon members as soon as one of them popped up right in front of venus in an unnatural fraction of a second. oh venus hated those with powers. or adored them. but resentful or envious, either way the display bakugou put in front of venus had the silvery vulpine jolting into movement once more as sapphire eyes grew to size of saucers before venus had the chance to process the situation. suitably satisfied with the confirmation that they were not being threatened, venus let their expression soften from the one of shock. "to talk to um.. you guys?" uncertainty crept into the sunhavener's answer - gaze drifting between the three as if to confirm their doubts. "i've got a society to propose between typhoon and sunhaven, but i'm not quite sure who to talk to. typically in sunhaven you'd be wanting to discuss these kinds of things with marina, but you guys do it differently right? or do i need to talk to uh, pinch, yeah that guy? forgive me, politics are a bore." to accentuate their point, venus made sure to make their subsequent sigh very dramatic. though as the vulpine let their gaze open once more to take in the sight of the young boy in front of them, the child looked ready to kill - not the forgiving type. how unfortunate for venus.

another of the trio spoke up, his tone and mannerisms almost bewildering venus and sending their emotion-recognising-machine hidden away in their noggin haywire. so weird. if the sunhavener were to be informed that this were the famed feral handler owen, perhaps venus would go crazy asking him questions and begging him to let venus at least come and meet the raptors, but they weren't informed. instead of drooling over his babies, venus gave the man a uneasy look of mild confusion. "good? um, i have a really thick coat so i enjoy the cooler months, but i think i'll miss the sunshine when winter comes. the sea will become too cold to swim in too - that's sad." rambles continued to spill from the silver-toned teen's mouth. the initial intents of the passive aggressive remark fading further and further into venus' oblivious nature - the only inkling that the kitsune had that they were supposed to be intimidated by the older male being the unnaturally aggressive 'kid' at the end. albeit in comparison venus was very much a 'kid' in comparison to the adult in front of them and therefore the remark wasn't too out of ordinary. why couldn't everyone be so much clearer when they were asking venus to feel things? they were happy to oblige, but had trouble with all this hidden meaning shit.

finally however, venus would give their entire attention to junji, the angelic presence in the midst of passive aggressive torment erupting from the sunhavener's arrival. who knew someone's citizenship could cause so much distress? at least junji showed enough amicable nature for venus to be at ease with his words and feel much more comfortable talking with him. "are you- the soothsayer here? i've heard about you, i've just never met you. junji right? my name's venus, i'm a solbinder back in sunhaven, which basically means i'm one of the medics. fancy words like solbinder are just for show." nods of hopeful nature were bestowed upon the angel in gracious quantities, venus so sure that the description of the male fit what they had come to formulate as 'junji'. if the kitsune had it wrong they might die on the spot of embarrassment though. "i think you'll be able to see the medic's society i'll propose today as something both groups can benefit from greatly. more so than any of the other typhoon members, you and your sage." alike minds had to stick together.

Re: SCENTIST (✚) SUNHAVEN - - DELTA - - 10-14-2018

DELTA
female the typhoon raptor squad
If Venus was hoping to see a feral, they were very lucky, as Delta stalked forward, coming to a stop behind Owen, dark yellow optics settling on Venus with sickle claws tapping in anticipation. A low babbling could be heard. 'Food?' After all, the silvery kitsune had the scent of the pack that they had been allowed to hunt for a long time now, and it seemed like this one wasn't as bright as the rest, coming to the raptors' territory themselves. Darwinism at it's finest, in Delta's eyes.

Politics and alliances weren't something she understood, nor cared for, even if she did. Just what was friend or foe, food or threat. Tail whipping back and forth, she took a step forward, intending to circle Venus, chuffing in curiousity as she glanced towards Owen, as if waiting to stop her. 'Food. Hunt.' She babbled again. She wanted to 'play' with this one, maybe figure out what was wrong with it to the point that it comes here, of all places.

Re: SCENTIST (✚) SUNHAVEN - Masie - 10-14-2018

Masie liked tons of things, from the tiny butterflies she chased after when she found them, small things that most adults over looked, entertained the two month old raptor to no end. Owen would likely have loved it if she stayed super close to the nest, Delta would likely adore it if the infant vanished. However, neither thing happened, instead the swift moving bundle of downy brown would constantly try to explore elsewhere within the environment. With legs made for running, she liked to do so, everywhere and anywhere. Thus the tiny raptor was just catching up, having been chasing a butterfly around the nest until a short time ago when she decided to follow Delta out in order to find father.

"FOOD!" the second that Delta deemed the one ahead of them food, something that the growing two month old had come to adore? Masie was jumping with joy, shuffling around behind Owen, chirping happily. Most of the time Masie stayed out of hunting since she was not even half the size of her siblings. The animal in front was small enough that she could be of some help. "Hunt! Hunt!" the small raptor seemed extra excited. Luckily sunhaven didn't speak feral, as Masie was totally ready to make a hunting plan with her sister and follow it.

Re: SCENTIST (✚) SUNHAVEN - Grey - 10-15-2018

Powers are something Bakugou has always known. The idea of losing them felt as if it were to lose his identity. It was a part of him that he intensely prided himself over. Some people, he believes, were just born to do great things. He's always thought himself to be one of them - gifted. Annoyingly enough, his mother thought of his skills to be frustrating when it came to his personality. He simply couldn't help his greatness. But, of course, there are other things to focus on when he rolls his eyes at the merchant's response to his question. No shit. It was obvious that she was here to talk, but his point was to ask what her business here was for. Of course, it would be easy to argue against Bakugou and tell him to abide to the usual words others said: name and business. He hates conforming to such norms. What lame and boring person made it so that everyone had to ask for the other's name and business? Yes, it makes things easier, but it sounded like a drag to hear over and over again. Besides, he gives little shit about asking for the others name. He will likely forget it so he may as well not waste his ears hearing them say it. At the same time, asking for another's business just felt...wrong to him. He's not a particularly formal tom.

His whiskers twitch irritably as the stranger speaks, talking about how she found politics a bore. He would agree with her to some degree but personally he'd call politics a pain in the ass. "The Captain will come if he wants to come but high positions should be enough to hear you out," the Reaver says, flicking an ear when he listens quietly to Venus' proposal of a medic society to Junji. This was more or less the angel's decision. He's never really allowed himself a say when it came to healing and medicine. The black mambas were like an untouchable guild, a group he'd never really question unless he was flustered enough to ignore the invisible barriers. "A medic society? As in you guys want to work together and share information or somethin' like that?" This was something he could actually wrap his head around. He was worried for a moment that the fem had arrived to talk about some plague sweeping over Sunhaven that they needed medics to help. They already had so little. He wasn't going to let Junji or Sil go for the life of him.

"Well, Junji, that's your call. I won't butt in." He would otherwise approve to the proposal, seeing as information was valuable and even better when free, but Bakugou was not a medic. He felt as if he didn't have a say despite being perfectly allowed to approve of the medic society.

Oh, just medic stuff. Owen shrugged his shoulders, as his large body turned to leave. "Delta. Masie. Follow." Owen babbled the orders to his girls, preparing himself to leave the scene now that Bakugou was there to handle it.  He'd just take the two hunting instead. That sounded better, anyways.

Re: SCENTIST (✚) SUNHAVEN - Masie - 10-15-2018

Hearing the command of her father, the raptor turned her head slightly. Why was he calling them away when Delta seemed set on hunting the thing that had showed up on the border? Clearly, she followed swiftly considering this was Owen talking, but she was still confused as to why they were leaving behind what her sister made seem like easy prey. "Food! Food! Food!" she just chanted the word as she jumped along after the two, at this point in life, Masie seemed to always be hungry, likely because Raptors had a lot of growing to do in their first year of life. Plus, Delta had brought it up first.
