YOU'LL KNOW I WASN'T JOKING WHEN YOU SEE THEM TOO
Argus has always been aware of killua, since he first showed up on the border of a desert, the scent of fish and death clinging to his pelt. Argus would have shown an interest in meeting him then- if it weren't for her own dead relative he had delivered to her. Dead. Rather than dying, because there was nothing the medics could do to help her son and he was dead. Now argus was.... preoccupied at the time. Blinded with rage an unable to see the logic, the reason behind killua's appearance. But she has had time to think things through now. She was honestly surprised to see Killua on the border before- see him still alive and kicking and still young. He had hidden his scent well enough with the casual display of power, but argus was of a different kind- she tracked souls as easily as breathing. Her work as a shinigami gave her practice
So when her senses sparked with the familiar aura of Killua she felt her own stomach roll. Either he was here to dig more information, or he had decided what to do with what he learned. An attempt at her life would not be well received- Argus would be upset to kill the person she had set to befriend, if nothing other than putting the screaming voice of her son to rest. But it wasn't the only reason, Killua has been acting off since she knew him know. Not remembering his time in riverclan beside to kill someone there. It was very interesting- and Argus liked interesting things.
When she approached, the scent of Snowbound and Guru assaulted her nose. Making her nose wrinkle slightly at the harshness of it- ice and cold was not Argus' element at all. She stepped into the open without any fanfare. Dark eyes watching both her interest and her crewmate.
Two sides of herself raged internally. To protect her clanmate- her family. Killua had unconsciously stepped into familiar territory- setting Argus on edge as she desperately tried to keep her from comparing how similar this exchange was. If only just at first. But the other was dark and insisting, interest curling into her psyche and tempting her away with only a thought. Killua was here, if not only to deliver her clanmate back but maybe she could press for more information maybe-
Killua was an assassin, trained to kill quickly and efficiently. So Garu being alive was clearly set as a warning. She let out a loose hum at the thought. Guru was one to push and push - probably tempted the young apprentice into a fight if anything else. "What did she do?" The striker asked, voice soft as she approached, checking to see if Guru was even awake to respond or if she would have to wait for Killua to respond.
