The salty docks were one of the only places that were still safe from the invading spirits, making them something of a sanctuary. After encountering Aineias upon her return, Morgan brought her straight there while avoiding the town. Entering the docks' fishing shed for a moment, the samoyed picked up a pair of makeshift fishing rods and a little bag of bait. He dropped a rod and bait in front of Aineias, then cast out his line and dropped the bottom end of the rod into a convenient slot on the edge of the docks.
    "There we are,"
he muttered, focusing his senses in case any fish decided to bite.

It didn't take long for Morgan to find a good topic to start with.
"Have you been alright? While you were gone, I mean."
He stared off into the ocean, taking some breaths to guide the currents toward the docks.
"It's not been great here, and our numbers just keep shrinking... but somehow we've found a way to live through it all."
He still thought he could feel the stinging pain left by any of the ghosts during their assault on him; his memory of the event was, sadly, quite vivid.
"I just wish those Tanglers all made it. Somehow... I feel as if they'd make some kinda difference."
The samoyed took a pause to reel in a medium-sized fish, dropping it into a bucket before casting out another line.
"They're, they're all dead, though. Almost nobody's come this far alive, and I-- I feel so alone. Almost like I shouldn't have made it either."
