DELILAH EVERGARDEN
Delilah believed she was weak, she had always been taught that she was from day one, so why should she try her hardest to prove otherwise? She had a brain, an incredibly intelligent one, and that was all she needed to be useful in any way. If she could think, if she could research, if she could study.. Everything would be okay.
"Oh please.. If anything, I'm just a pest. I'm only good at memorizing things.. And cooking, and medicine. That's about it." The pastel-haired woman soothed the nervous male, her hand finding its way through his hair for a moment, patting his head despite his much larger size. She had always enjoyed his hair, the way it could be so messy if you smoothed a hand through it, but she just didn't want to startle him. "Without me here, you'd probably rank up fast, become stronger. I just hinder you." She muttered disdainfully, her self-despise painfully obvious in moments like these.
She soon pulled her hand back, clenching it to her chest as she moved to sit down and stare at her waffles. A mere creation of her memory, with a few physical components included. Talent, as some people called it. Suddenly, the branding on her body seemed much more present to her. Magenta eyes closed, painfully aware of the fact that if she didn't start eating, he would sense something else was wrong with her.
"I think you're strong, smart, you deserve happiness, and all the luck in the world. Screw anyone who says otherwise." Delilah muttered, her fingers smoothing over the stump of her leg over and over as her free hand poked her waffle with a fork idly.
