It wasn't like any of it mattered to him. He roamed from clan-to-clan so often that keeping up with its politics simply wasn't worth his time. However, he just so happened to be in the area where Sunhaven had gathered, so he figured that he would stick around and see what Monr- er, Marina had to say.
His name had been mentioned not once, but twice. He had apparently shown his mug around enough to get promoted to . . . hearthkeeper, whatever the hell that was. "What the hell is that?" He had asked an NPC sitting nearby, and once the explanation of the rank was delivered to him, he cocked a brow in response. "That's it?" Jerseyboy gave a shrug and turned back towards Marina. "Huh." He . . . accepted, he supposed. This didn't sound too bad. He got a fancy title of recognition just for doing what he did on a regular basis. The moment something came up, though? The moment he got actual responsibility? That was it.
