DELILAH EVERGARDEN
Delilah was pitiful with how heavily she even idolized and worshipped Renegade in moments like these. His chaos was calming to her, and she never liked chaos usually. Chaotic good, as they called it? Is that it? She didn't really understand. But oh- Gods, she could see his collarbones and it was mentally driving her crazy. What was wrong with her this morning? "I slept okay, still a little whoozy from starvation. I have to get back to work after we take this day off, though." Delilah muttered, brushing her hand over the stump that used to be her leg. Is she ugly without her leg now? Did it digust Ren? Is that why he distanced himself?
Pushing her crutch away from herself, Delilah tried to push her weight against the counter, attempting to just balance herself. It was her fault for losing her leg, Leroy had no choice but to cut it off. She'd have died otherwise. "Simple waffles, here we go." Delilah muttered softly, her voice dejected as she began to cook the sweet breakfast food. It didn't take long to finish four waffles and some extra and set all the ingredients down on the counter. After such, Delilah turned to move back to the pantry, nearly stumbling when she forget she only had one leg. She couldn't walk without her damn crutch. All of the dishes were washed, and soon her crutch was levitating over to her before she fell, all telekinesis unactivated as she graced herself with the burn period of her power usage. Her fingers tingled, burned, but she ignored such things, going back to finding the instant coffee and green tea. "Tea or coffee?" She called out, limping back over to the counter to set the two things down.
To be honest, Delilah had noticed his insecurities. She wanted to touch him, to reassure him everything was okay. But someone like her wasn't allowed to love, everyone she loved always left or died. He'd leave eventually, and she'd be stuck here, alone again, contemplating her existence and why everyone always left her side. Silence filled the room before she spoke again. "I idolize you, Ren. God, if there were any way I could be as tough as you, people wouldn't look down on me anymore." She muttered softly, an arm brushing over another one, scratching at it. It was an anxious tic that she needed to stop, it ruined her skin. God, she was a mess.
