DELILAH EVERGARDEN
One would have thought that the sight of a shirtless man wouldn't have bothered Delilah with how many she had to work with on the daily. Nobody would have expected Delilah's face to get so red that cherries couldn't compare in coloring. She was a mere innocent, blushing girl in the sight of someone who had so terribly attempted to cook her breakfast in her kitchen. He made a mess, sure, but the sight of muscles was much more distracting than dishes. Ren could always wash the dishes.
Slender fingers found their way over bright magenta hues as Delilah tried to conceal the embarrassment of gawking at a man's muscles. His body was scarred, but Delilah adored that part of Renegade. It wasn't like she loved him- well, she did, actually- platonically, though! He could never love someone like her, he deserved better! Anyways- Delilah adored Renegade, so just this once she'd let him wreck her kitchen.
When she had walked in and had gotten noticed by her roomate, Delilah took a few moments to gawk until he had let his shirt fall back over his body, covering the muscles she had previously been so shamelessly staring at. A gentle smile crossed over her features as she leaned against the counter, snatching up a piece of raspberry to pop it into her mouth. "Tried to cook, Renny? Why didn't you wake me up?" She asked calmly, an amused smile on her face as she did so. He was so adorably innocent in a way that Delilah wished she was. She was talented with creative arts, though. Her family was gifted in the arts, but the only thing Delilah was better at was medicine. She had been looked down upon in her family for being gifted with medicine, it was a sin. After all, most of her family were all faeries. Her mother, Titania, hated any mortal acts such as that. Why couldn't her daughter use magic to heal others?
Delilah wasn't unique, she was cursed.
As her sparkling eyes gazed around the kitchen to look at just how bad the damage was, she noticed the piles of cookbooks on the counter, grinning a bit at the sight. "What did you try to cook? Waffles can be easily made. I have a waffle iron." Delilah stated in a sing-song voice, waving her finger as dishes began to clean themselves enough to make room for the waffle iron that was soon set upon the counter. "We have instant waffle mix in the pantry.. Add a cup of water to it, and shake the bottle up, Renny." She teased, nudging his foot with her own. As the waffle iron began to heat up, Delilah focused on gathering ingredients. Chocolate, butter, whipped cream, syrup, cherries, sprinkles, and nuts. All of which, yes, Delilah did have.
What? She had sugar cravings too, y'know!
