Delilah had suffered through plenty things in her lifetime. Even after the traumatic events of her past had been long gone, she still suffered from them. They haunted her, creeping around every corner and chasing her back. Never-ending, painful, heart-breaking. It hit her like a bad dream, like a rock, striking her until she was too unstable to walk or even think.
But him, God, him. He was like a light at the end of the tunnel, a guiding flicker that even someone like Delilah could worship, idolize. He was everything good to her, he was like some God to her. But why? She had noticed the way his eyes brightened up when he saw her cherry blossoms, when he saw her nearby. Maybe it was the way her hair shined under the morning sun, or the way her cherry blossoms floated upon thin air, like magic. She was magic, maybe her very being was magic.
Long, pastel pink hair fell loosely upon pale ivory shoulders, the freckles upon her skin light and almost invisible underneath the morning sun that shone through their cabin's windows. She had taken to sharing her home with Renegade, Delilah had no problem doing so. After all, she trusted the male with her life. She would risk her life to save his, it was the same for everyone else in the tribe.
She felt refreshed, having woken up, sat up, and stretched. Her bones cracked with pleasure, and soon her hand was shifting through her messy, wavy hair repeatedly, attempting to tame the unruly mane that was her morning bedhead. She smoothed her palm over the velvet blankets that were laid over her leg gracefully, keeping her bright magenta eyes casted downwards as she felt around for her phone. Nothing. Oh well.
Delilah soon slipped out of bed after pondering over what happened, soon finding her hands on top of the rose-shaped branding upon her lower stomach, right at the hipbone. She cringed at the feeling, but grabbed her crutch to lift herself up onto her single existent leg to dress. With a flick of her finger, she let a simple sundress fall over her figure, light and moveable through the gentle breeze.
The pastel-haired girl had eventually made her way downstairs at the smell of food, unsure of if it was burning or not. It just smelled.. Weird.
