Thea offered Imperia a grin as she approached, the young Fireball hobbling forward a few more feet before stopping, the wings she had been using to carefully balance herself to avoid falling over now folding in, the pale gold ends of her wings now folding, a few of the feathers having been ripped out, but otherwise, they had been fine. Thank goodness. Otherwise she would've had a more difficult time getting home.
The young dragon winced as she held out the broken paw, the pain that had dulled shooting through her front leg, as sharp as it had been before. "Yeah, I don't mind. I'm fine." Smile, it'll be alright. It had been awhile since she'd actually thought of that, actually, since smiling was now almost a second nature to Thea, a bit like breathing or blinking.
Pupiless eyes settle on Imperia for a few moments, tempted to ask if she thought that Thea was a toy, but chose not to. It was obvious Thea was simply mishearing things from her friends. "I tried to get Oni back, though. Since the Pitt took him." 'Cause why let them kill him when I could? And in a fair fight, too.
