She's bigger than all of the current apprentices here, and she doesn't have the ability to take another form to put herself on a more even playing field that she would like to do if they were to fight. After all, she was here to get better like she had been told that she had to do - fighting opponents she could easily beat wouldn't solve that.
Perhaps she could ask to fight two at once? That should do something to even up the odds.
She is of a different opinion than Alexander though. If they were going to fight, then they should do their utmost to fight properly, claws and fangs and blood and all. How else were they supposed to learn to avoid things that were going to hurt them if they were always holding back? No holding back in a fight. That being said, she doesn't know anyone here, so she keeps her mouth shut and watches. She's always watching.
