It was probably strange that he had chosen a boat house so far away from the others, but he really didn’t give a fuck. Besides, he kind of liked this one. The house was painted a dark, stormy gray, with dark colored doors and windows and white frame. Yeah it was a bit... boring, but it certainly stood out among all the bright colored houses around town, as if it was that grumpy old man who yelled at the neighborhood kids playing in his front yard. It had clearly been abandoned for a while, the furniture inside slightly dusty and some of the paint on the exterior flaking off. Yes, it would need some... work, but that was alright with Haru. It would give him something to do, after all.
Walking inside, the shiba let his eyes wander to each piece of furniture, every little trinket within the house. The faint swaying of the house with the waves and the eerie silence that had settled within gave him an odd sense of calm. Deciding he would deal with the first floor later, Haru now made his way upstairs, passing through the bedroom to standing on the deck. From here, he could see the edges of town, but more importantly, the vast expanse of the sea. It reminded him exactly of being back in his home country, looking out at the ocean longfully and wondering what lay beyond it.
However, it didn’t take long for the more unpleasant memories to resurface, specifically one involving one of exes. They had gone to the beach a lot together before she eventually broke up with him. A few weeks later, Haru found himself singing a song about her, something he sort of regretted, but could never truly forget. Even after all this time, he still remembered the lyrics. “Don’t... rain... on... me... don’t... rain... on... me...
Why you gotta act so nice?
This ain’t televised... this ain’t televised... this ain’t televised
Movin’ at the speed of light
And I’m terrified... yeah, I’m terrified...
So please, for the love of god, don’t drench me..." The male softly sang to himself, thankful he was alone. Of course, he failed to realize that he had left his front door open, allowing one of his clanmates to sneak in and listen.
/cant mention on mobile for some reason buuuut here’s the song he is singing in this thread- same voice
