Perhaps it was odd someone as small - smaller than a domestic - was un-intimidated by the large, feral creatures. Admittedly, it could be said war dulled the fae's sense of fear. He kept a level head around everyone. Calm. Quiet. Gentle. If he could be a reassuring presence, or simply an unthreatening one, that was exactly what he did. It made life simpler. Raziel did not like conflict after all. Why appear anything but calm, rational and kind? Why be anything?
Of course, he was surrounded by pirates, so he supposed his beliefs did not apply to everyone around him. They had never back home. Not really. When the rusty-spotted cat padded over, he did so quietly, his sea-green eyes taking in his surroundings curiously. Nothing but serene grace. "They all know their names?" He prompted, genuinely intrigued. Even if one did not know the language, repetition tended to make simple things sink in.
