He blinked out of his reverie at the sound of someone else's approach. A pleasantly short wait, he decided as he watched the small cat approach. "Hello... Bast. My name is Nakir." Admittedly, he hadn't met enough people to say whether it was strange name or not, but it felt weird on tongue to say the least. "I am looking for someone. A few, actually, but... unimportant. I am mostly looking for a place to stay, if that is what you offer as I have heard." Sudden movement caught his attention, and he looked to the starry-pelted lioness bolting to Bast's side. Oh.
Nakir ducked his head under the glare of her, ears pushed back as he scuffed his paws across the ground. "Tris...tezza. A... surprise seeing you here." He caught sight of the golden bands and grimaced, looking back up at the two of them now. "N-No, nothing of that here..." To be fair, that's exactly what he was looking for, but he could hardly make a defense for that. It wasn't like he was planning to "rise up" again with them, he was just looking for a familiar face. Tristezza was one, but in no way was she a pleasant surprise. "Please, can we leave that out of this?"
