But the lessons and experiences are hard to forget though she tried her best to push it aside, wanting nothing to do with that time. It seemed it had want to rise once more and the smile she offered Tena was strained, edges shaky though it was by no fault of her own, simply old memory.
“Greetings Tena,” taking a soft tone she allowed her head to fall, thankful she had kept the hood up, hiding the twist of fine features. Given time she would learn to separate her how feelings, all too entangled within threads of memory swirling about her mind, driven to an exhaustion she would remedy given the next chance, but for now she could only hide. Forcing the discomfort to fade, replaced with a more neutral expression, it too came to shift, unease and some sense of joy touching her.
Over him maroon toned eyes moved, catching upon skin left open from him sudden movement, faint the sound of worry rushing through pursed lips. She had heard only snatches of news, much of it revolving around the bigger groups present, around for a longer stretch of time, but some of Sunhaven had slipped through and had worried her greatly. The fact one of their own had been taken had been given with a cruel laugh, the one who told her enjoying it though he had learnt the error of such quickly, the identity of who had not been known, however. It seemed now Ishayu knew just who had been left at the mercy of those who dwelt in the desert, a shaky step bringing her closer.
Desperate was her want to reach out for him, give herself at least one small comfort of touching him, confirming he was truly here and not something her mind drew forth to offer some comfort, but such was not something she was permit herself to do. Or at least not here with another present, her gaze flicking to Tena once more, wondering as to how she would react. “I am... I was not thinking right, it was too much. You really should be resting,” a tone of worry touched her voice, clearly the news of his raise to Helion having not reached the serval.
