There were boundaries he was supposed to uphold and this was breaking one of them. But sometimes he couldn't help himself, there were times when he just wanted to travel a little bit further than what he knew and what he had been able to see. What they let him see. He had heard stories of the desert and he had thought of one day going out there and seeing it for himself. But those days terror gripped him for even thinking of leaving the jungle and stepping further from those that nurtured him, taught him, and beat him. Yet here he was on the edge of the jungle, eyes of pink marble shifting over the expanse of sand with awe before he took one step out into the heated atmosphere. His breathing quickened a bit too much and he had to stop himself for a moment to try and calm down. Thick forked tail was kept between his legs as always and he swallowed, neck shifting under the tattered grey leather collar he wore around his neck.
Another step took him further and he couldn't help but glance back over his shoulder. He knew he shouldn't be doing this, not without permission but he just wanted a small taste of what the desert was like. So he moved further out and further still and that was when he spotted the figure of a bear who seemed collapsed upon the ground. Truly this was his first time ever encounter such a creature so he didn't know what to call it but instinct made him slowly walk over with his head lowered as it usually was. His long ears pulled forward just slightly before a gentle breath left him and he attempted to nudge the creature's shoulder as a away of helping. "S-sir, you aren't supposed t-to be here. Are you okay...can I be of some assistance?" Please be quick. I'm not supposed to be here either. His mind spoke up but he stayed all the same, hoping that things would turn out in his own favor.
